This historic Victorian boutique hotel is located 1 mile from San Francisco's vibrant Union Square. The breakfast was generous and pleasant. The freshly baked afternoon cookies and sherry were a real treat. The hotel is like a historic murder mystery period piece. There is a log fire in the lobby. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. It is a very special place.
