We were looking for a silent and calm place to our honeymoon. This was found here! Fu Chun and David were really great host of us! They were really kind and had the capability to give us great service and be invisible if it was needed. We had a really nice room, a 'Seaside Superior Chalet', cleaned up every day. Fresh towels to inside and outside usage were provided every 3 days too. We loved that we got fresh flowers every day in our room/bathroom. We enjoyed very much the well-kept garden, the pool and the common places of the resort. We ordered our lunch and dinner from our hosts, the chef of the kitchen (Angi's mum) was amazing: very tasty foods, huge portions, fantastic local tastes! Furthermore my wife and me are vegans - they prepared our meals accordingly which deserves an extra praise! We had the chance to take a look inside the kitchen - it is probably the tidiest one in Indonesia! The coral reefs are really close, there is a 'natural pathway' to walk out on feet even in low-tide. They are beautiful, we did unforgettable snorkeling! We enjoyed the friendliness of the entire staff! We spent here 16 days - it is strongly recommended for those ones who are searching for relaxing, calm vacation place.

The best and kindest homestay i have ever been! This homestay is unique in many forms: the owner Steven contacted me a few days before my arrival to answer all my questions, which was a solo female traveller very helpful. He organised me a taxi and boat from Manado to come to Bunaken and back. Through this i could catch directly my flight. Steven and Misi were always helping me with any situation coming up and I had the feeling I could always ask them anything (i had a difficult situation in the middle). The prices were always transparent and fair. They also helped me to find a very good diving school and helped me planning my snorkeling trips (they have a lot of contacts). Both are very kind, warm and open. They even invited me to celebrate New Years Eve with them and their friends. On my last night we had a small farewell party to which Steven invited some friends over to play music! The room is very clean and comfortable. In the whole house I always had perfect and fast Wifi (didn't expect it on an Island:)). The room had a fan and as an add-on AC. The food is cooked fresh, delicious and a lot. Dietary requests are taken serious (as for me i dont like fish and love Tempeh :)). I also rented a Scooter from them which had a very high quality! I am super happy and grateful I stayed at El Homestay and I am already planning to come back:). I honestly fell in love with this family. If you want to have homestay which feels like home and get to know the village of Bunaken and the culture you should definetely stay at El Homestay!

The lodge is located very close to the beach where the boat drops you off. The rooms are very comfy and have AC. Be prepared for a bucket shower! Dion is very friendly and helpful, the diving is very good value and the crew are kind and very good at their jobs. The best part for us was the food!! All three meals are included and the home cooking is really incredible and delicious, they should.open a restaurant! We miss it already Overall we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again

Sunset Guest House & Bar se nachází u moře v destinaci Bunaken a poskytuje bar a soukromou pláž. Everything, but especially the food. Meals are genuinely outstanding and an absolute bargain as are included in room price. Just stay here.

My stay at Novita was incredible. I felt like part of a family. The food is excellent and the family is adorable. The accommodation is very comfortable and the value for money unbeatable. I only want to come back to Bunaken to see them! The girls are very nice too. We went snorkeling together. Thanks a lot. I recommend 100%.

Siladen Resort & Spa je ekologický přímořský rezort s venkovním bazénem, soukromou pláží a restaurací s výhledem na oceán. Beautiful resort with yummy food. The management and staff were great -any problems were sorted promptly and we felt very well cared for. Great atmosphere and beautiful sunset views. Amazing house reef for snorkelling! We did the dolphin & snorkelling trips and my boyfriend did some dives (special thanks to Lea for re-introducing him to diving), all well organised. The spa is also fab. 10 days went too quickly! Highly recommended.

Happy Gecko Dive Resort se nachází na ostrově Bunaken v severní části Sulawesi, jen pár kroků od světoznámých pláží a potápěčských míst. Nabízí ubytování s potápěčským centrem. The entire team from the owners to the support staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and good-humoured. The food was simple but really delicious. The diving trips were well organised and we were well looked after by the whole crew. All in all, a really lovely place.

Raja Laut Dive Resort nabízí bungalovy postavené ze dřeva z kokosových palem, které se krásně mísí s venkovem. Stop reading the reviews and book this now. NOW! It so amazing. We stayed 8 nights. Right on the ocean, with a little beach, no mangrove trees to obstruct view or access to beautiful coral reef, great for snorkeling. Other places in the island don’t have this. I spotted snowflake eels, 8 types of clownfish, 3 types of anemones, coral colonies the size of cars, and so many pyramid butterflyfish and niger triggerfish just in the first thirty minutes. It’s amazing. All of the rooms have wonderful views. It was so so so relaxing to be there. I have never had such a good experience. The food was amazing and local. We did vegetarian and it was so tasty. They also had fresh fruit around at all times. We went with the divers on their charted boat and snorkeled for around 12$ a person for two separate spots a day. Super affordable. The boat team of three men were so professional, knowledgeable, and yet super funny and kind. I felt like we’re all friends by the end. There is a public boat from manado, which we took on our way out, and we booked a private boat on our way in through Raja Laut. Both were great. Brahm the manager was so kind and attentive. We did laundry there and it was done well. Jessie and her staff in the kitchen were so kind. Always enough food, served family style so we could get to know the other guests. It was so nice, but also acceptable to talk to your own party if you wanted to.

We understand why guests are often coming back, the place and the hosts are unique. We could only stay for 2 nights, be sure next time we will stay a whole week!
