A small table and chair for eating or reading would go a long away to improve the comfort of guest in the room, rather than having to resort to the bed or the floor. The WiFi signal for the TV is in need of an upgrade.

Very clean, descent and large room; in a central location in Barnsley. It has been been recently refurbished. The bed and pillow are comfortable. Shared kitchen and toilet are good. Available parking is helpful.

Despite the above, spent ages trying to access (get message an hour after entering that outside door codes didn't work) and dark once inside, so again difficult trying to work out entry. Didn't realise not ensuite - extremely basic apartment - and cold! No heating that I could see. Price wasn't expensive by any means - but it is Barnsley after all!

Location great - with parking behind apartments. The Dove pub a few doors away brilliant! Clear and well thought out instructions prior to arrival for location and door codes etc.

Unfortunately, there were only four hangers in the wardrobe so anyone staying for a week wouldn't be able to hang up their clothes, nor would a couple staying in the room. The room didn't contain a table and chairs, though there was plenty of room for one, and only one chair in the kitchen area, so any meals had to be eaten sitting on the bed in the room. The point regarding tables and chairs in the room is one that has been made by others so maybe it's a point that should be taken forward.

The location was fantastic, as it was pretty close to town, and in a quiet area, as well, at a really excellent price. The room itself was incredibly spacious, so absolutely no issue there. It's just the sort of place for someone to base themselves before getting out and about during the during the day.

Good location from centre about 10/15min walk, easy self check in, free parking down the side street to right of the food place in between houses. Host replies very quick😊

We booked the apartment on route to a funeral it was a cold night both of us were tired. It took us about 3 hours to realise we had been given the wrong address. We had no way off getting in touch with the owner of the house. Eventually the Owner of the booking contacted us and given us the right address. We are not complaining about the owner but we are not happy with booking. Com this isn't good for the either of the property owners it souls never happen been given the wrong address

Parking wasn't specified how to get to it. We had to park up elsewhere and figure it out ourselves. Extra pillow on each side would have been great as 1 is a little flat for our liking. Also, a blanket would have been nice to have as when the heating went off overnight, it got a little chilly.

It was close proximity to where we needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, no clutter all bright and open.

Last time I stayed at this guest house I have struggled to gain entry inside but I couldnt raise this issue because the message sent to me was:dont call us if you are having any issues,so to me this is not right.

We had problems with the access codes, but this was dealt with quickly. The lock on the shared bathroom didn't work - that's a big problem with shared facilities The toilet flush was a bit temperamental.

The room was spacious and clean. Communication in advance was good. When we had a problem, the manager was quick and efficient in solving it.
