Bed was little too soft. Nitpick: There were a lot of non-essential flyers (at least non essential for me) in the room. Not a real issue.

Very close to the station, although the station is a bit big, so the walk from JR to the hotel is still a bit long. Easy check in and check out. As I like firm pillows, the pillows provided were firm enough. More than 1 pillow as well. As can be expected, room was small but enough for 1 person. For 2 persons, it will be a bit of a challenge to move around. Overall - a good stay.

The hotel is around 15-20 minutes away from Hiroshima Station; it was a bit of a work-out with luggage in tow. It would be better to just take the taxi from the station to the hotel if you have a couple of bags. The Inarimachi Tram station is a 15-minute walk away.

Check-in process via the machine was simple enough. There was a slight issue with the credit card reader; it kept on asking for a PIN. The person manning the counter was very quick in addressing the problem. He connected another card reader to the machine that I was using and I was finally able to finish checking in. There is a Lawson convenience store and an okonomiyaki restaurant at the ground floor of the hotel.

The room was the smallest we've had in Japan - it was very tight. It was 2-3 times more expensive than normal due to the Golden week festivities

The bed was small but comfortable. The breakfast was adequate not as much choice as other places we stayed at.

Bed wise is totally difficult sleeping with my partner because there is only one way to get on the bed so my partner needs to get up for me to go to use the bathroom Being the bed is against the wall items that fall between bed and wall is difficult to retrieve I am handicap and using the bathroom there are no grab bars for safety and step up is very difficult for handicap person entering and exiting because of the Hugh drop from floor to bathroom and visa versa.

Compact sized as there’s not much space to place my luggage. Not to complain though, just a feedback.

5-10 mins walk to Hiroshima Station & mall. Quiet & peaceful neighborhood as it’s not in a touristy area. Eating places dotted around area. Amenities adequately provided. Clean bathroom like new. Friendly staff especially the one who helped to store & retrieve my luggage, forgot to ask what’s her name. Thank you.

It serves the purpose but the only hotel I came across in Japan which does not have a water station or any drinking coffee/tea. They would direct you to the vending machines.

Rooms were small which is common for Japan hotel. However we were limited to only being able to book a double bed and as taller and broader people we struggle to fit in a double bed but for one night it did the job!

The area was great for our visit to Hiroshima! The staff were very helpful and organised our luggage to be shipped to our next destination.

Not much space for storage - had to put my suitcase just behind the entry door and walk around it when entering/exiting room (but this is not unexpected in Japan). Front reception difficulties - hard to use the self service screens and my usual payment travel card was repeatedly declined (despite being used elsewhere in Japan) so had to use my spare credit card which was inconvenient due to transaction fees.

Convenient location within walking distance of Hiroshima main train station (across the river) and access to the restaurants around the train station precinct. City view. Single room was very compact but functional and all amenities provided (including yukata for use in the pool and other facilities which I didn't use). Bathroom had large shampoo/conditioner/soap bottles which are environmentally friendly but single-use plastic wrapped other amenities (toothbrush, amenity kit etc). Wifi worked well - unique passcode displayed on the TV screen. Small desk with chair for writing and tall mirror. Note that luggage storage required a QR code system - take a screenshot when registering because the screen tried to "start again" when I returned to pick up my bags and doesn't save the existing code!

Onsen was very busy. Rooms a bit small, difficult to find space if you have a lot or large luggage.

The bath in the toilet room was great to relax in. The hotel has an Onsen too. Hotel is only 7 minutes walk from the main train station, and a easy 30 minutes walk to the Peace Memorial Museum and Edion Stadium.
