The double beds were a bit too small for two people to sleep in them. With no breakfast available, you will need to make some yourself with the limited kitchen.

The room was very spacious, and had a small kitchen + own washer/dryer .

i remember it was listed in booking.com that the rooms have optional breakfast, but uppon arriving they said it used to be one year ago, and the cafe only serve as a bar. in the rooms i booked is listed to have balconies. but only one room provided with balcony.

Good location, although not many amenities around, the station is very close it can you to kyoto station within minutes. The rooms are spacious with good value. the staff are very helpful and friendly!

This is a minor downside but most japanese restaurants where all located about 20 minutes walking from the apartment. Not an issue if you enjoy walking but going for dinner did require some planning rather than just strolling around the neighborhood.

The apartment offered a lot of room and was very clean. We spent 10 nights there and were happy to have enough room to relax on the couch rather then having just the bed or a chair after a long day walking around.

Quiet area just a few blocks from a main road and very close to local subway for easy and quick travel into the city. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.

On the booking website stood that a breakfast could be had for a fee. That is not correct. The hotel does not serve breakfast at all. The nearest restaurant is a good 10 minutes walk away. So we prepared our own breakfast.

The apartment was spacious, very well equipped, comfortable and of course spotlessly clean. The metro station is very close (5 minutes walk).

All as expected. Patio is for drying laundry rather than sitting and relaxing. It’s small, has the AC, and view of carpark.

New, modern spacious room with all that you need. Very comfortable. Everything works. Two stops on subway to Kyoto Station and other places of interest. Subway really is 4 minute walk away. Parking available at 1000yen/day additional. Stayed three nights comfortably. Helpful staff, on site cafe/bar.

Zen apartment in kyoto was amazing, the hotel itself was phenomenal. From the moment you enter to the second you leav you are greeted. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially hariko she was amazing, going out her way to find places for our group to but kimonos and best food places that were halal. She even sorted our luggage transfer with the best price. The hotel itself was amazing clean and spacious, balcony view of gardens and an amazing chill area where you can feed koi fish. There are 7 eleven ls and vending machines nearby and maybe 3 min walk away from Takeda station so easy access to transport. Our check in was at 4pm but we got there early at 12pm and they let us checkin eatly. Would really recommend this place, just a note to keep in mind is thatthere is a tax fee you have to pay to get in was under £10 for a full group of 6. 100% will be coming back here again

The only thing we didnt like was the beds. We both got a sore back from the mattresses.

The location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We only had coffee there which was good. We will stay there again when we come back to Kyoto. If we have anyone we know going to Kyoto we will recommend them to stay there.

There honestly wasn't anything that I didn't like, but I only have one minor complaint. The vent into the room points directly at the head of the bed, and you're not allowed to turn it off, so in the mornings, I would wake up with a dry sore throat. It wasn't a long stay we had in Kyoto, so it didn't cause problems, but if I had stayed much longer I probably would have needed to lay with my head at the foot of the bed to get away from the vent haha

This apartment hotel was absolutely beautiful, I honestly wish we had stayed longer and found more accommodations like this in Japan. Having all the amenities of home just made us feel cosy whenever we returned to our room in the evening. The size and the layout were fantastic, as we know typically hotel rooms in Japan are very small (which was the case with our other stays, but that's not a complaint!) I was blown away by the bath, which you could set the perfect temperature and it would fill itself at the set temperature and stop when full- thanks to this, I want one in my home!! Mostly, though, the room and the view from the balcony was just beautiful. The bed was nice and big and comfortable. It was a quiet area but within walking distance of the train station which took us everywhere we needed to go, but walking distances weren't too far either. We plan on returning to Japan one day and will definitely use this apartment hotel again for our stay. We had such a pleasant time.
