How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing really negative, but after 3 days of same meal for a breakfast I started to wish for some diversity. However, the breakfast itself was fantastic.
I loved the location - just 8 minutes walk from main Akihabara station or main street with all shops. However, the street itself is not busy, so it was nice to wander around in less noisy area. The hotel itself was very good, our room had enough space for 2 people and luggage. Plus for laundry room with many washing machines - there was no problem in doing laundry and guests did not have to queue. The breakfast and dining area is very good.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed in connecting rooms which were great for our family of 5 (also means two bathrooms which is always a plus). The shower is separated from the toilet with a door. Very helpfull staff. Very close convinent stors and many restaurants. And you are 10 minutes walk from the Akihabara train station and the cool area that surround it.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is around 7-10 minutes walk to Akihabara station, which is well connected around Tokyo. For Tokyo the rooms are an average size, but cleverly the beds are on an elevated platform so you can push your luggage underneath. The bathroom is great with all amenities provided. There is a lovely coffee shop around the corner and multiple convenience stores. Akihabara itself is great for shopping and restaurants.

There are only two types of breakfast, so the choice is a little limited. Everything is tasteful, but it's the same everyday, so be aware of that.
It's well located, close enough from Akihabara station and the Electric Town but not so close that the loud transit will bother your sleep. In fact, it's very quiet in there. The young team of attendants are willing to help despite not speaking English very well. The cleaning team makes a wonderful job, our room was impeccable. Breakfast is good. Overall, It's a great place for foreigners.

As with most Tokyo hotels there is little space, but better facilities to hang clothes would be helpful
Free coffee and all necessities available, stayed here on my previous trip and would stay again! Great staff, easy check-in & check-out

In the pictures the nice entry room with the fireplace is full of luggage from people leaving bags every day so you cannot sit here or use it which was a shame
Really clean nicely decorated room You can get a black coffee from the on site cafe for free each morning

Rooms are small but that's typical but most importantly, beds were way too hard and uncomfortable. Slept terribly and ended up with a sore back. I wouldn't stay there again based on that.
Great location. Metro very close by. Courteous staff.

Loved everything
Fantastic hotel. Great location. Close to Akihabara station and surrounds. Clean, modern and good amenities. Cafe breakfasts and coffees onsite a real bonus. And the coffee was great. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Would recommend and stay again.

3 days between room service is really not idea, dust accumulated on surfaces way to fast within those 3 days

The laundry room did not have good ventilation. It had mould on the ceiling which is harmful to the health of guests.

I wish the toilet had a proper drying rack which wasn’t above the toilet seat
Although the room was small like many in hotels across my stay in Japan, the arrangement made it feel large and airy. It had a lovely view as I was on the 14th floor

The location is a bit further away from the subway station if you carry a luggage with you.

The rooms are small, but so well designed. The bathroom was fantastic with a steam shower and more space to move around than the usual Japanese hotel bathroom. The cafe downstairs had great coffee and oat milk 🙌 The laundry facilities within the hotel were great value and easily accessible. Great location with easy access to food options and the subway.

The hotel looked very modern and clean, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect, it is very close to so many big shops, arcades, restaurants and akihabara station making it perfect for travelling to other areas of Tokyo. I felt very close to everything I could have needed for my time in Akihabara, less than a 5 minute walk to anything you could need or want to see in this area

My only comment is the curtains aren’t blackout but you can wear an eye mask if that’s a problem.
It was very modern and clean and had all the little touches. The twin room was actually bigger than I thought it would be, I thought the gap at the end of the bed would be tiny but it was large enough to open a suitcase and do yoga etc if you wanted to. The bathroom was also a good size for Tokyo and the shower pressure was incredible. It’s a 5-7 minute walk to Akihabara station. I also recommend going to Kelio coffee nearby for some amazing specialty coffee. They do free black coffee which is good but we are super picky!
