How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great hotel in a perfect location in the iddle of the old town. Access via code - very easy. But staff could be reached very easily. I had a problem with the shower, sent a message and they fixed it immediately - on a Sunday! Very much appreciated. If you are there at high season and do not like noise, you should choose one of the rooms not facing the street, as it could be a bit noisy during the night, especially during the weekends.

Quiet and close to everything. 3 min walk to the shopping mall. Clean room. Big shower. Very helpful staff. I forgot My sunglasses, and staff there are sending it to me. So happy about that.

Be aware of the very steep stairs at the property - not suitable for people with some physical limitations.
Great location. Close to both historical centre as well as bars and nightlife. Be carefull about the strip club promoters in the area though!

The only thing we would propose for the host to improve is to supply a small piece of furniture to the room. I mean a chair or stool, or even better two of them because otherwise guests have to sit on their beds while drinking coffee or tea.
1. The location is perfect, in the centre of the city and not far from a railway station or a bus stop to the airport. 2. The host sent us information how to get into the property using codes. This was very helpful especially taking into account the delay of our flight, thus we came to the site after midnight. 3. On our arrival, there were bottles with water as well as coffee and tea prepared for guests in the room. 4. Everything in the room is well kept. The bathroom equipment is in perfect condition as well as lighting. 5. The room was cleaned very well. By the way, it was spacious enough though the building was in fact a historical one. 6. Bed linen and towels were of good quality. The bed was also good and comfy. 7. There were free maps of the city of Gdansk and also some other information materials for guests.

Lack of sound insulation. Unpleasant sewer smell from the sink.
Location, easy to check in and check out. Possibility to ckeck in after 00.00 and leave the luggage after ckeck out. It was clean. Great location.

It was smelling too bad because of the toilet. We closed the door all the time we were in the room but anytime we opened the door it was smelling too bad

I did not get the code information from them. So I had to call customer service for reservation to solve this problem. They should supply their direct contact telephone number. In the room they should provide a chair to sit on.

The aircon was not working but luckily was still chilly weather so open windows helped. But that also means noise comes through. It's quite noisy at night, there were people talking loudly downstairs and someone trying to start a motorcycle and/or car for 5 minutes before they took off, for two nights.
Amazing location, close to everything. Really easy to navigate. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was easily contactable through the app, and very responsive.

The flat has the perfect location in the heart of the old town right next to the main pedestrian streets and the main tourist highlights. Furthermore the flat is perfectly equipped even including a kettle (incl. Water coffee Tea) a fridge and a SmartTV (incl. Netflix & YouTube). The room is super modern and gets cleaned on a daily basis. It also needs to be mentioned that I was able to check in 3hrs earlier (at 12:00), as I arrived earlier than expected. However, in general, six suits also offers lockers in case you wanna store your luggage.

I can't say the apartment was not clean, it was and it smelled really nice! but as someone allergic to black mold I did not appreciate seeing it in the shower - and its doors were kind of wobbly as well. Other than this very minor ick and the lack of soundproofing (soundproofing was mentioned in the listing so a little bit deceived by that), no complaints.
The ultra central location is both a blessing and a curse - it is indeed close to all the main sights, but for one night it also meant people partying under my windows until early morning. Definitely not the accommodation's fault but something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper. Also the room is not soundproof, so you will hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms, which might not be an issue if your neighbors are mindful. Check-in is contactless, but the staff was really communicative and forthcoming, willing to accommodate my request. I appreciated the bottle of water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle as well, nice touch.
