Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaHostel ester house is definitely the best hostel in moscow. The location is great and very safe and near to all the public transports. The staff is very good and helpful. The cleanliness is very good. Washrooms toilets and the rooms are clean always. It's a very good hostel to stay for everyone. The common area and kitchen is very good and clean. The beds are also very comfortable. They have laundry facilities and ready to eat meals also.

IndiaHostel Ester House is best hostel in Moscow. Hostel location is great because it’s near to metro bus and tram stations. Nearest metro is prospect Mira which is just 5 minutes away by walking and nearest tram station is just 1 min away by walking. Hostel is very neat and clean. Washrooms were clean almost all the time and staff is also very nice. Beds are very comfortable and clean and wardrobe which they provide it’s also good and has enough storage. I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone because as a frequent traveller I know what people needs and Hostel Ester House is definitely the best hostel in Moscow for any kind of travellers.

RussiaLet me start with that I booked the bed in the 4-bedroom appartament. When I came here there , I was told that there was no free place in that room and I had to change to the 8-room appartament, although my booking was confirmed. However, frankly speaking, the personnel of the hostel informed me that that the problem was with the booking app/site itself which didn't provide the info about my appointment. And I had to notice that the guy on the reception didn't do adequate job explaining this to me , so he had to call the manager who did it clearly in 1 minute. Ok, I had to oblige because I was so tired to find another place to stay. They told me that they will recalculate all the expenses. I went upstairs to the third floor to arrange all of my stuff in my room. When I was in my room I was trying to find a towel and there wasn't any. I descent to the reception asking about the towel and they told me to watch it in the wardrobe , so I had to go on the third floor looking for a towel in the wardrobe. I opened it and there wasn't any again. I had to descent again and told him there wasn't any towel, I was told that we will put it later... It was really annoying. That evening also the electronic door stopped working for some reason and it could be opened by any person freely. When I returned to my room from the walking I was noticing that the bill was accounted according to the price of the 4-bedroom apartment but not 8- bedroom,so basically they DIDN'T recalculate. I had to go to the reception and again the personnel couldn't do anything without the manager and I was told to wait until morning. At the morning another person on the reception told me the same ; that they didn't know what to do and I had to wait for the manager. During my stay at the reception desk, I noticed one person who checked out and I heard how the person from the reception asking him : " Why did you put so low mark to the hostel".
The apartments , shower, bathroom are super clean. It's of the most clean hostel that I have ever been. The manager of the hotel seemed very nice to me and he was very comprehensible on the contrary with the regular personnel which were a bit rude ostensibly blaming me that I wanted this small difference in money back.
