A wonderfully vibrant city with large parts of the central areas now fully pedestrianised. The Milan metro system is excellent and incredibly good value compared to London (singe ticket Euro 2.20 but cheaper if purchased in bulk). We had dinner in the Naviglio (canals) area which was excellent. So much history and art to see - a one and a half days stay really not long enough!

The Duomo with its terrace, the Scala, the Sforza castle and the citi was beautiful, the people were nice, the food was excellent, the canals were nice, the markets and the Leonardo museum were enjoyable.........etc
We didn t see the "Last Supper" due to the excellent high price, and we have already eated better ice cream in other italian towns and countries. We like opera, but the their program wasn t likely for us.
We missed Pavarotti from the Opera s Museum.
We hade only one unpleasant experience.
The Getyourgide person in the Opera looked and smalled like a homeless.
His small could be felt in the whole room! It was terrible!
The safety was good.
The airport was enjoyable too.
Crowded with shops, (buthelers, ice cream, Mac Donalds...) but you can enjoy live piano music too!
These Italians!
Sometimes we will return yet!

Milan is a vibrant city. The locals were very accomodating.
Milan is a vibrant city. The locals were very accomodating. It was quite pricey in the more touristy areas and you really needed to book in advance for any thing you wanted to do if you are there for a short time.
We loved the canals at Navagli. This is a lovely area with some wonderful restaurants.
We took a day trip to the lake como. The travel was insanely busy but 100% worth it!! Wish we had more time there to stay longer.
We also did the QC Terme spa. I would really recommend this and would suggest you pay for the Wellness Lunch - as this was divine and include unlimited GOOD coffee and wine.
we spent two weeks in Italy in different locations and Hotels, that was the worst by far. I called before we go to ask for a room with a bathtub because my back hurts they said my room has it but it didn’t. the room smelled so bad, after we complained and 2 hrs later they moved up to a different room. it didn’t have hot water and it is winter. it was really bad experience I will never go there again.
the stuff was horrible and not helpful at all.
We had a really fantastic stay in this hotel. The hotel is in the most perfect location in the city centre, literally right next to Duomo. We found the room to be very clean, with a good view of the city. The hotel also came with good amenities such as a coffee machine.
We interacted with staff a few times and each time they were extremely helpful. I would definitely look to stay here again in Milan.
I travel extensively in Italy for work. I can honestly say the bed and pillow situation is that of a five-star fine hotel. It was great. The value of the room is good. The room was spacious, simple modern, updated design, a bright modern bathroom, and the room was very clean. The location is great if you want to be in the center. I very much recommend staying at Prestige Boutique Aparthotel.
Starhotels Collezione in Italy is absolutely wonderful. Rosa Grand is right behind the duomo, so it’s easy to get to places by foot or by metro/tram.
We had 2 joining rooms for a family of 4. With Milan as our last stop and all of us being a bit exhausted, the rooms provided great comfort in between our multiple adventures.
Adorable zebra themed hotel located in Milan's Navigli district, which is slightly out of Milan's city centre. Really good access to metro and tram, <5 min walk. Nice night life with restaurants along the canals very close by. The room was beautifully decorated with a very spacious bathroom and balcony, so can't complain.
A very stylish hotel, with a dark, almost "goth" look to the whole place.
One of the closest hotels to the monstrous Stazione Centrale.
The breakfast was very complete (for Italy), and even included eggs & bacon!
The staff I spoke to were extremely warm & helpfull.
The Wi-Fi was excellent, and easy to connect to.
Great location. A few minutes walk from the main train station. Staff were very helpful especially Veronica who was always so cheerful and answered all our many questions patiently. She gave us tips on where to go and what to do in Milan. The best hotel staff I came across in all the hotels I stayed in Italy.
rooms where very clean staff very friendly breakfast was good a few blocks from Milano Centrale train station neighbor in general seem to be safe for a big city I can not comment on value since I do not have a lot experience comparing hotels in Italy as i would in the US
Location is excellent. Public transportation is easily accessible as are the main attractions of Milan. The room was very clean with very comfortable bed and temperature control (July tends to be very hot in Italy). Staff is very professional. Breakfast is good.
The hotel itself is super cool, very modern and artsy.
We really liked the room and they got us a nice surprise for our honeymoon.
It was also our last stop before leaving Italy, so the hotel being so close to the train station was a really nice touch.
Locations is good, close to the main train station, but the area is ok.
Staff is very welcoming.
Room is great and super comby, has everything I needed.
Design is cosy
Brakfast is great.
From now on I would stay only in Anderson hotels in Italy.
The hotel has a great location. It’s so close to an underground station with great connection to the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. We were happy about our choice and will probably be back when we’ll return to Milano.
Super nice - Loved the hotel’s team especially Anna, Samu and Dario! Super sweet and very friendly!
Since i was going to many places in Italy - i was checking in and out very often, and they made it super smooth! Would definitely come back
A superb boutique hotel in an amazing location in Milan city centre, close and accessible to everything. Staff very friendly, helpful. The hotel amenity unique in style . The happy hour delicious treats provided were great .
A simple hotel equipped with everything you need to explore Milan. The location is great - not far away from the central train station. The city centre can be reached easily by metro or bus. A great quality / price ratio.
The lobby and staff are excellent, there is also a nice bar in the hotel. Location is perfect, very close to the Duomo and major city centre sites within Milan (Quadrilatero della mode, etc.).
Nice quiet rooms, probably the most affordable hotel in Milan for what you get, perfect location between train station and city centre, hotel interior design was nice, good breakfast
Good value hotel for solotravel right next to milan central station, can explore city centre easily by metro.
It's clean, friendly staff with good WiFi and balcony.
