The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
The girl who served us dinner was really kind and went out of her way to find out what dishes I could eat as a coeliac. I really appreciated her help.
The room was lovely, bed comfortable and it was spotless.
The only tiny issue was an insistent hum that started in the room just after 6am. When we turned off the air conditioning it stopped so it must have been that.
After dinner we went up to the bar, it was lovely and atmospheric with a beautiful view out over the river.
Our room had a little balcony where you could sit outside and watch the swans on the river.
I'd definitely recommend The Glasshouse for a great night away.

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far.
The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!

Sligo is a lovely place, both for itself and its location to explore lots of interesting places nearby. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste.
The man in the tourist office was so nice and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't go on the walking tour It sounded very interesting .
The one way traffic system is a bit confusing but we got used to it quickly. Actually, I'd advise people to park the car and just walk.. its much quicker.
Restaurant food was excellent.
Young staff were the best and most attentive of any hotel I've stayed in Ireland. I mean that.
Kids were manerly , attentive clean listened to what they were told by us, was no issue to go to kitchen to check requests. Mature beyond years.
Those who served us as well as the others moving about. Please tell them same..
Staff trainer top marks.
I had a lovely stay at Pearse Lodge. Everything was nice and clean, breakfast was tasty, they were even kind enough to make a cup of decaf coffee for me in the middle of the day. You can take advantage of the free parking and take a short walk to the center of Sligo. I've been travelling Europe for around 8 months and this is one of the best places I've stayed!
Good city centre location for anyone either travelling by career via coach/train (next to both stations). Within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the river. Reception staff friendly. Spacious hotel & an indoor pool handy on bad weather days (although can only book 50 min slots and it's first come first serve).
Amazing hosts! Great communication. The place was extremely clean, good location and easy to find (just add the Eircode on Google Maps). Close enough to City Centre e and to the N4 which takes to many places around Sligo. The place has everything that you need. Great shower!!
Ended up in sligo with my daughter being admitted to hospital, this place give the Clayton hotel a run for its money at half the price.Host was very personable and very understanding of the situation when you just need to put your head down for a few hrs.
The location was a short walk from Sligo city centre. The host was very easy to reach by phone and was very helpful. The house was clean, warm and comfortable. On arrival there was a basket with snacks in the kitchen and a little welcome note!
It was a welcomed me relief from guesthouses or hotels. A tiny, cozy cabin in the Irish countryside. We were delighted that it rained all night and had the patter on the roof. Michelle was very communicative and helpful.
Hotel is in a really nice location around 10 minutes drive outside Sligo town at Rosses point.
It's within walking distance of a great beach, and if you are lucky with your room you'll have stunning sea views.
Love the staff, the location if you are staying in town no need to use your car. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and hopefully we will be back in September. Our Go to hotel in Sligo
