Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed. I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

Tel Aviv is a scintillating, varied and exciting city with everything for tourists, young and elderly. Music, opera house, concerts, classical and jazz. Art galleries and museums… cafes,bars and beaches. For all denominations, Synagogues, mosques and churches in Jaffa. Markets by the port, in the centre of the city and in Jaffa. If needed, first class health facilities, hospitals and clinics. Trains, buses and the new light railway, also taxis are in plenty People are welcoming and helpful. The best is just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. Many restaurants in the area. The beach is close 3-5minutes away. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I was unable to visit for five years, but the staff welcomed me as an old friend because they recognized me. This was a very good feeling for me. The breakfast is very delicious and gives you a good start for your day Rooms are clean and I like the design. I have to go back soon

Warmly welcomed by Ilya around 4am. He carried my suitcase upstairs and was very courteous. The room was excellent and everything perfect. In the morning, Mosha greeted me with a bright smile and kind words and recommended a restaurant nearby. I could leave my suitcase at the hotel over lunch. Overall a wonderful first night in Tel Aviv! Thank you all of you at Hotel Golden House!
