After resting in the room, the next day, breakfast was excellent. Due to lack of time, I didn't use the pool but visited the facilities. It was very nice and the water temperature was good. I will surely come back.

Lovely place, lots of historical and interesting places to visit.
Great scenery, lots of colourful houses with beautiful flowers adorning the exteriors.
Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings.
Parking is very difficult in and around Sintra. Try to avoid driving if possible, the traffic police are very keen!! Beware!

A nice place to visit but full of tourists.
A nice place to visit but full of tourists. The nature around is beautiful and you can visit some of the attractions but expect a lot of people.
You can find anything from beaches to forests, all in a 15-minute drive.
The roads are narrow and it's hard to park.

There are many historical places in Sintra that can be reached on foot. if you go to the right of the historical museum you can find a small restaurant on the balcony where they bake bread in a wood-fired oven. unfortunately I forgot the name, but you can see the sign. Very charming.
And visit Long Beach and the restaurant near the rock and try octopus on the grill. Very recommended.

The roads are very tight, the crowds of visitors are intense and some of the locals working in local shops/restaurants are very rude and completely over having to deal with tourists. However, the views are amazing and the Moorish Castle was very cool. Difficult place to travel but worth it!

Sintra was a lovely town but I like Aveiro better especially the hotel we stayed in. The hike to the palace is not that hard. Proper hiking shoes and clothes should be worn. It is not a stroll through a park. You will be climbing up and down narrow stairs. Bring water.
The palace is beautiful!.

Very touristy and difficult to manage with a car.
Very touristy and difficult to manage with a car. Quite pricy. Good food at Tascantiga though.
Pena palace was too busy to enjoy properly though the Moorish castle was great. Shame didn't have enough time to visit Quinta da Regaleira.
We liked the back garden. It was nice to relax after walking all day.
The staff were very kind and helpful. They let us know the Palace had timed visits. This was very important. Our advice is to arrive early as possible for the palace.
We were able to access an iron which is not always possible in Portugal.
The location is great as it is a short walk from the train station and close to many restaurants.
The hotel is 140 years old and has lots of stairs. The staff were happy to help with bags.
The location was definitely our favorite during our trip in Portugal. The staff was excellent to work with, and the rooms were excellent. It was great to have a couple apartments close to each other in the same complex, and there are set up in a way that you don't hear much noise from the other occupants. The location is perfect for walking around Sintra. Close to the train station. Walking distance from several site. Definitely worth the stay.
We spent our last night of more than thirty in Portugal here. were welcomed in the warmest fashion. We had take away and were set a table in the restaurant, allowed to stay at the hotel after our check-out. The location and design are superb, the hop on hop off bus stops right outside the gate, there was parking and the pool was quiet and huge.
We wish we had more time to sit in the garden and watch the clouds. Will definitely come back again.
Very comfortable well equipped Villa with everything needed, beautiful small garden, excellent breakfasts, plenty of free parking, easy access by car (unlike most of Sintra which is horrific to access by car). Marco is an interesting fellow. I enjoyed talking with him. He helped me with some tasks I needed to do as a new resident of Portugal. I could walk 15 minutes to the train station (note the walk is on a steep hillside). I will return.
A great stay - probably one of our best during our five weeks of traveling in Portugal. Good parking - great breakfast and a room that was really a double room. This is an older building but it has been renovated "first class". We loved it. Wifi was good. Great shower!!! This is a 10 out of 10 stay!! We only wish that it was a little closer to the "old town" area - not bad walking down but a chore walking back. Second day we took the bus.
Very helpful staff. I was under the weather when I was there and the hotel personnel gave me the help I needed. The hotel is around 15mins drive to Sintra and close to beach Maças where you can enjoy sea view and food.
The hotel offers different kind of events in the public area as well. It’s a very nice idea, but sure sometimes it comes with noise. But in general, it was a comfortable stay.
Lovely room, lovely home, lovely owners and very accommodating.
Parking was extremely easy and safe as well. Excellent location a few minutes from the beach and in the gorgeous coastal forest area in the surrounds. And after traveling for a number of years, this would be a region I would love to return to and explore more. One of the most charming areas of Portugal.
Our visit started with a warm and friendly reception by the owner who was very helpful in providing info on how and what to visit. The room was great and comfortable and breakfast was exactly what was needed to start an active day. Ample parking in close by lot was a bonus. It's location to various sites was ideal. I highly recommend Hotel Nova Sintra!
The hotel location is perfect, a short walk to most sights in Sintra, near the center of activity but quiet at night. We drove our own car, parking was easy in front of the hotel. Desk staff was very helpful advising us about getting tickets, an Uber to the Palace of Pena, best times to visit various sights, etc. We would definitely stay there again!
A good localisation to visit Lisboa and other beautiful historical cities and rest at Praira Adraga, natural and one of the beautiful portugal beaches, very helpful apartament's owner - Mario, who explain everything and answer all our questions. 100% satisfaction !
Best breakfast in Portugal, a buffet just for us with homemade products prepared by the friendly owner. Jams, olive oil, tea,... can also be purchased as a souvenir. Beautiful view from the terrace! Good location to explore Sintra's palaces or cabo da roca.
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and has a lovely view of downtown Sintra. Breakfast and wine hour were amazing. If I come back to Sintra I would stay here again for sure.
The location is perfect, walking distance to almost everything you need. Public paid car park just across the road. The most impressive was the breakfast! It’s the best one in Portugal that I had!! Breakfast service staff were great as well! Thumb up!
The thing I liked the most was the beauty of the place. My bedroom was very nice and clean. The place was actually super close to the center of the village. The staff at the hotel was the best though, the kindest people in Portugal!
Lovely place to stay. Excellent location especially being near the train station for Lisbon and bus pick up point for the Palace. Has its own parking, a real bonus in Portugal. Restaurants and bars close by too!
Sintra Bliss was closed, so we were moved to Sintra Boutique Hotel.
It was superb.
From biggining to end all was perfect.
Fantastic staff, lovely hotel, comfortable.
They really care about the passengers.
Very comfortable hotel. Clean. Nice garden.
Not in city centre. But in Sintra you have to use taxi or bus to get to the castle, so it's OK.
Very nice restaurant around for lunch Pedro or something.
