A peaceful village with a beautiful center full of nice taverns. The village itself is far from the sea and is reached by an inaccessible steep road. There is a beach further from the village and it is small and below average.

Great little village, with nice views. Very, very crowded during high season and during the week-ends. Be careful where you eat (not all places are the same - wink wink). For a good meal try Old Remezzo (it's a couple euros more, but ages apart from the BS tavernas from the main street). Do not plan to stay more than 3 days in the village, as this is a small village and you will get bored fast. However, this is good location to explore Kassandra, so is you are staying more than 3 days, plan some trips around this location.

The home has been tastefully remodeled and we found the room and the the garden to be quite lovely. The location is excellent, close to all the best shops and restaurants, a grocery store is less than a 2 minute walk. The beach is close but be advised it is a downhill walk as Afytos is located up on a cliff. I would definitely stay here again but would come back when the weather is a bit cooler. The owner Ivana was very kind and arranged transportation for us to Thessaloniki.

The beach below the hotel is amazing, not a lot of people, very private and the hotel has a few beach umbrellas that you can borrow so that can be very useful. The staff is really pleasant. We visit the hotel almost every year. We are coming all the way from the USA to visit. The most amazing is the view and the hotel has a great location and across a terras full with restaurants. The staff is extremely kind and knows how to make you welcomed. Harris, the hard working and always pleasant staff member who greeted us with a nice smile upon arrival, has gone way and beyond to accomodate and enable us have really a very nice stay. we were at Hotel Eden before, we returned and will be coming back again.
