Location is great, 2 min from the sunset beach. The staff was AMAZING. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We had a second floor room with a balcony ( partial sea view). Room is freshly renovated in beach/sea colors. Well appointed with nice personal care products, a mini fridge and robes. Bikes are also available. Dog friendly!!

The room was conveniently located near the beach but also in town within walking distance to everything I needed on this trip. It was also quite warm in the room which was perfect for the brisk spring breezes coming off the ocean at night. And an added bonus, they were kind enough to store my bags after checkout so I didn't have to lug everything around as I waited for my departure time. I'd definitely go back!

I have been visiting Montauk my entire life and will continue. Now my grown kids come on their own. A fishing/beach town that has amped up its game..boutiques, 4 star chefs, great lodging. But at the end of the day it is the beach. If you stay in a hotel on the beach side, town is right there & you dont need to ever move your car till you go home! Grab a coffee from the Bake Shoppe, and a wrap from Joni's..wander over and spend the day in the sand & surf. Shop at Land Shark for you sweatshirts or Kai Kai for flip flops, blankets & Ray Bans, head over to Duryea for sunsets & the best salads & lobster dinners..end the night with mini golf & ice cream at John's Drive in. Writing this makes me want to jump in the car and head back there.

Montauk is great. A Wave Inn not great.
Montauk is great. A Wave Inn not great. The rooms while clean are for husband and wife used to sleeping in a tiny Hard bed and 1 kid. I was with my 2 older sons, none of whom wanted to sleep close to each other or me in a tight bed. Therefore I ended up sleeping in the car. Also, to make sure they make up for unsold rooms they have some undesirable tenants living on premises. There is no way to get in tough with anyone who works there after 6 or so. If you have a problem you are on your own. I wouldnt go back there if the room was free.

Motel ran out of pool towels and coffee pods. We had a view of pool and could see the sound too. 👍 Our neighbors were fighting and very loud. Had to drive into town. Nothing walking distance. Ate at the Inlet, one of my favorite places!

We have been going to Montauk for 50 years and this is the first time we have seen so many small shops and restaurants near Gosman’s dock closed. When we asked a local fisherman on the dock what has happened to the businesses he said that the town has gone down. Famous Salivars restaurant is now only open on the weekends etc…
We went to John’s Pancakes for breakfast and it was empty. Anthony’s across the street was packed??

Lovely
Montauk Manor is a beautiful place to stay for quiet peaceful relaxing getaway with your best friend.
The Hilltop Restaurant had excellent service by Kristina our waitress and the clam chowder was so delicious!
The sunset views on the front lawn were spectacular. The Manor was clean and welcoming and the front desk receptionists took care of all of our needs. The room was the perfect size with a kitchenette and couch.
I highly recommend Montauk Manor for anyone who needs a place like home.
Extremely over priced for the room we had and the service provided by the staff was very slow. Everything we ordered in the hotel took ages to come including breakfast both mornings when there were very few people in the restaurant. We stay in quite a lot of hotels in Europe for business and pleasure and this hotel did not meet the standard we generally expect for the prices we paid.
The hotel is located near the harbor. Walking distance to Harbor beach, Gosman’s, charter boats, and other bars and restaurants. 5 minute drive to downtown Montauk and ocean beaches. Pool, propane grills and fire outs for hanging out at the hotel. Reasonably priced, for Montauk in the summer. Rooms themselves are clean and basic, but you don’t go to Montauk to hangout in your room
We stayed across the street from the ocean in a suite with a pool and street view. It is a very nice size with a kitchen dividing the bedroom and living area. This makes it somewhat private for two couples or a family. The hotel is in a prime site downtown Montauk and walking distance to many restaurants, bars and stores.
For this price, you're paying for location and not much else (certainly not customer service). The beach access was very convenient, and the hotel is close to both Montauk and East Hampton. Check-in and check-out were contactless which is nice but the online forms were a little buggy.
Loved that we could reserve our beach chairs and umbrellas for the next day - made life so easy! Also loved that we were allowed to make fires on the beach at night with metal tubs. The location was amazing and the house keepers did a great job at keeping our unit sand-free.
Colleen at the front desk was great - explained all of the amenities to us. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel has bikes that you can take out. We didn’t have time to use them, but they looked great! We totally enjoyed our short stay at Haven Montauk!
Perfect location and size, right on the beach with exceptional staff and great food. A little pricey, but not for the area, and in fact much better value than some of the other ‘gentrified motels’ around Montauk.
The space was perfect for three adults staying one night. We had a fantastic sunset view. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was too windy to sit on and fully enjoy the balcony, but such is life in Montauk!
Great all around experience! The location and atmosphere of the Manor is wonderful. It's very comfortable with nice facilities. The hotel has the most character of any place in Montauk.
renovated motel Style stay at Montauk. rooms were okay and liked the location (bit more quite). bike rental included despite bikes were inconvenient to ride
One of the best locations in the town. Walkable to every resturant, convienence store, etc. Make sure you book an ocean front to get the full experience.
