The Saga was a great place to “come home” to at the end of the day. Breakfast is served in the cozy reception area - no blaring TV, just soft classical music. The breakfast offered a nice variety of foods and the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking is easy and the hotel is easy walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. The pool is beautiful.

We booked 2 rooms with king size beds, however when we got there they only had double queen beds. That is not what we paid for!
Breakfast was a joke too. Every slim pickings.
When going back to the rooms, the girl came with a trunk full of food. By then it was too late for how we were feeling.
Never again will we book through booking.com.
You can not get through to the front desk on THEIR MESS-UP NOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGH BOOKING.COM. IT'S A RUN AROUND!
THEY LOST OUR SERVICE 💯 %.
OH FORGOT TO MENTION. RAMADA BY WYNDHAM IN PASADENA CA TRIED TO GIVE US A ROOM THAT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. WTF!!
WHEN GOING BACK TO THE FRONT DESK THE GUY SAID. " THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THAT ROOM WAS BEING WORKED ON!"

I liked most that there are NO TV or noises from guest rooms near my room; It's a nonsmoking Hotel; The rooms doesn't have any stale or odors in them (at least not in my room); There are NO guest hanging-out, talking, or on cellphones in the hallways or in front of my room's door; There's a restaurant in the lobby; Rooms have mini Fridges, a Couch; Desk for writing/laptop work, and a Big Screen TV's in them; The bed and room is comfortable and clean (Traffic noise and Dust in my room being the only problems due to my Allergies, Asthma and Migraine health conditions which are sensitive to dust); The location is perfect, with Public Transportation; Restaurants; Parks; a Library, Bank, Market; Entertainment; Gas Station; Post Office; etc. nearby (walking distance); The rooms walls are NOT paper thin (Thank God:); The TV has lost of Channels to choose from, including HBO, Netflix, YouTube, Bluetooth, etc. options.
I did not like that the rooms DO NOT have any Hardwood floors or Hypoallergenic carpeting in rooms specifically for Allergy suffers; The rooms DO NOT have Bathtubs in them (only Showers); There are NO Snack Vending machines on any floors 2-6 (Guest have to get it from the lobby/front desk); The rooms have NO Microwaves in them (but you can request one from the Front Desk (which they won't tell you you can do or have brought to your room); Delivery food have to be picked up from the lobby (due to the elevator being to far from the lobby to get to and no one to assist delivers to your room); The Hotel has NO room service; You will hear dogs/a dog (if any) barking when they are passing by your room via the hallways and or in guest rooms next to yours; The PLUTO App Movies & TV Channels DO NOT work properly or at all (the Internet signal constantly disconnects or never gets connected). Housekeeping is every other day (wish it could be every 3 or 4 days for uninterrupted rest for guest whose stay is a week or longer).

I grew up in Pasadena and it's a fine little city with many places that would be fun to visit, e.g. the Huntington Library and estate. It's not Los Angeles or New York, but it's clean and peaceful AND within an hour's drive, one can get to Los Angeles or Hollywood (or Universal Studios) or the fine beaches. Two hours to Disneyland.

Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA.
Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA. It is easy to get to via the freeway system from the airport and easy to drive to other parts of LA. There are a lot of great vegan restaurants. There are many options for buying groceries too. Lovely residential neighbourhoods for walks near downtown. Huntington Library and Gardens are well worth a visit. Well preserved historical architecture all around. Pasadena Antique Market in downtown is fantastic as is Vromens Books. Nice mix of independent shops and bigger chains. Pasadena Hotel and Pool was less expensive than comparables in other parts of LA. If I had to live in LA for work I would want to live in Pasadena.

The city of old pasadena was nice.
The city of old pasadena was nice. Lots of architecture and activity. However, hotels are plopped in the busy sections and parking garages. Lots of concrete! Not peaceful
The hotel food was very good. Staff as well.
Just uncomfortable with hotel location.

Santa Anita for Derby Day.
Santa Anita for Derby Day. Many gardens of trees, flowers, plants were thriving everywhere in the city. Arboretum in town booked at Huntington, must reserve ahead, but others available. Easy residential access and views of homes and estates. Breakfast at Green Street was great, with indoor and outdoor seating in garden, nice staff and fresh food. Still has old world charm.
The Saga was a great place to “come home” to at the end of the day. Breakfast is served in the cozy reception area - no blaring TV, just soft classical music. The breakfast offered a nice variety of foods and the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a decent clean and comfortable hotel with satisfactory breakfast for a small hotel. It is central to everything in Pasadena and renovated pretty well. We didn't need room service so I cannot comment on that. It was good to have a laundry unit. Staff was friendly and ready when we had questions. We were jet-lagged and hungry in the middle of the night and they kindly provided us with oat bars.
Facility is very clean and very functional. The location is great as it is convenient to downtown Pasadena. We did not have breakfast (we don't do breakfast normally.. not a criticism). The bed was very comfortable. The room had a refrigerator and microwave... so convenient! The shower was terrific. We do want to compliment the incredibly helpful and polite staff.
Beautiful hotel, plenty of seating area in the lobby as well as an outdoor patio. Board games and activities for families to hang out in the lobby. Perfect location and on site parking garage, plenty of food and shopping is walking distance. Fast WiFi available throughout the property made WFH a breeze in a peaceful and quite environment.
The manager Jay was so rude. I had my workers stay there and they were kept up all night by the neighbors. When I told Jay he called me a liar. I believe that he said this because my workers are Mexican. Jay is rude and in my opinion a racist. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
We were in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, and this property was perfect! Out of the way of major traffic, but close enough to get anywhere we need to go within 10 minutes. - including parking at the game. Very clean and great communications with owner.
This was my second stay at the Hilton Pasadena. It's a beautiful property in a great location. The staff are AMAZING.
We were in town for an event being held near the Rose Bowl and it took us less than 15 minutes to drive there from the hotel!
For the price this is one of the better hotels in Los Angeles/Pasadena area. While it’s pretty no frills, it has everything you need. Clean, comfy bed, shower, and mini fridge/microwave (at least the couple times I’ve stayed).
Very nice staff. I had a problem after my check-out when I forgot something in the safe of my hotel room. The staff was very helpful and responsive when I tried to solve the problem.
I liked that Mr Omkar the manager at hotel was very helpful and extremely cooperative. The location was very close to gas station all the restaurants and other shopping places.
I could not stay because there was no place to park the moving truck I was driving. I called the hotel and mentioned this to her assistance inn getting our money back.
Great facility. Clean. At a walking distance from anything you need in Old Town Pasadena. Great staff. Good restaurant. Great bar. Right inside the Paseo Colorado.
Good location - within walking distance from lots of restaurants/bars in downtown Pasadena.
Hotel has ample parking space. Nice breakfast place with good service.
I didn’t like this hotel at all the last stay I had. I would like a refund. There were roaches all in my bathroom and under the refrigerator on the room as well.
The only hood thing about it was its location. It’s situated very close to old town Pasadena shops and restaurants. And that is why we chose to stay there.
