Este hotel de gestión familiar se encuentra en una calle lateral tranquila, a 10 minutos de la catedral de Colonia y a solo 20 minutos del recinto ferial Kölnmesse. I travelled from Manchester UK to a gig at Burgerhaus Stollwerck and found this hotel located around 10 minutes away - I arrived at the central station from the airport and caught the 132 bus directly to Chlodwigplatz. I had read on the website that the hotel is painted green and could see it easily! This is such a relief for a traveller who knows nothing of the local language. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, advising me how to get to the venue later. In the morning I enjoyed a complementary coffee and after realising that I hadn't packed as well as I thought I was also given helpful advice on somewhere nearby to buy a cheap T shirt! I'm glad I had enough time to walk around the local area in the evening and the next morning as it's very pleasant - I was impressed by the old gatehouse in the nearby square. The room was very comfortable and good value - I didn't make use of the cafe located next door for time reasons but there were many places to grab food and drinks nearby which I used before catching a tram back to the station for the next part of my journey.

NunoHotel is located on Barbarossaplatz Square in the Neustadt district of Cologne. It features modern rooms with digital satellite TV. This hotel is not located in the centre of Cologne, but south of the centre, which was very convenient for my trip (attending an event nearby). It is at a junction of several tram lines, so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. Köln Sud train station is an easy walking distance away, if you’re coming by train from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English – of course. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Free coffee on arrival was a bonus 👍

This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 2 km from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. Excelente lugar, las camas eran muy amplias y comodas, los recepcionistas todos muy amables y atentos. La ubicacion era relativamente cerca del casco historico, y a unas pocas cuadras estaban las bocas de trenes.

ATa & oMo ofrece vistas a la ciudad y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento con una ubicación excelente en Colonia, a poca distancia de Parque Volksgarten, Plaza del Neumarkt y Theater am Dom. The host was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She also gave me a good explanation on surroundings such as restaurants, cafes etc and made sure that I will have a good stay. The room was very clean and charming. It has almost everything I needed for the long weekend stay. Thank you also for the nice easter chocolate which I found at my door as a surprise :-)

Blue Edition Cologne está en Colonia, a 17 min a pie de Parque Volksgarten, y dispone de alojamiento con bar, wifi gratis, recepción 24 horas y guardaequipaje. We loved how the place was furnished and the creativity put into every detail. Very close to public transport (10 min to the bus stop, 15 min bus ride to the main station) and close to some shops and restaurants. Definitely would stay again next time we are in Köln!
