Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We loved the atmosphere and especially loved loved loved the vegetarian breakfast the chef prepared especially for us. It is definitely a highlight during out Japan Trip. Providing lake views and a garden, Chuzenji Pension offers accommodation in a prime location in Nikko, within a short distance of Kegon Falls, Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji Temple. The owner gave us a syperb room with lake view. The meals are so delicious and the staffs are so welcoming.

Located in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Oyado Yukizumi provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. One of the best places I've stayed in Japan. Everything is great. From the location, food, amenities, and value for money.

Set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. Very peaceful, amazing staff, great food, and parking.

Set just 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, Minakamisansou features accommodation in Minakami with access to an open-air bath, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. Everything is top notch, room is spacious and clean with daily room service, staff is extremely friendly, warm and hospitable. I would like to express my great gratitude to Iwasaki (岩崎） at dining and Yamada (山田泰子） at reception, they are doing their best to make customers happy with great smile 😃 Not forgetting to mention the meals which is very delicious, ingredients are fresh and with great variety. Oh dear I starts to missed the place so much 😄

Situated in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Soumeian features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.

Set 36 km from Ishidan-gai Steps, Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso offers 4-star accommodation in Nakanojo and has an open-air bath. We loved everything about Sekizenkan. Our room has the best view! We enjoyed our hot tub in the evening while it was 4°c outside. The 11-course dinner was beyond our expectations. Both delicious and beautiful presentations. We love the lounge area also - the drinks, ice cream, and cookies the guests get to choose from and enjoy.

Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. This place is just on the top of my ranking. A real Japanese experience with all the necessary detail to make the stay unforgettable. The different baths super clean and with history. The meals offered were delightful. And the environment just as needed, calm, serene and peaceful.

Oyado Tamaki offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a traditional garden with benches where guests can sit and relax in. Very nice location, wonderful service

Ipinagmamalaki ang mga hot spring bath sa kamangha-manghang outdoor setting sa Takaragawa River, 10 minutong biyahe ang Japanese-style hotel na Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku mula sa Hodaigi Ski Resort. We came here specifically for the onsen experience. And yes, it was the most wonderful experience for me of coming to Japan. It was snowing and we bathed in the onsen and I was very thankful for the whole experience of just being able to witness snow falling while my body bathed in that wonderful onsen. Then there's the food, the food is amazing! I have never eaten Japanese food like that. The taste and the combination of flavors just really left us in awe. It was a really nice meal and we appreciate that the dining tables were separated from each guest which made the whole setting a bit more private. Then there's the rooms. You have this huge room that I think would be better if we had a bigger family, but I do love that it has this area where you can view the river and the snow and just drink tea. The heater worked wonderfully and we didn't feel cold at all. I do love that it is also full tatami in the hotel and we walked around in assigned slippers throughout the place. And if you're wondering, yes they do provide the yukata and bathing clothes.
