The location is based on a posh area of Basra. The building is very modern and clean. The room was incredible like a one bedroom flat with a separate bedroom to the lounge with 2 bathrooms. The finish was of a very high standards. Whoever designed it had paid attention to details. The staff were very polite. The breakfast was plenty with excellent variety of choices including made to order coffee. I am very pleased that I booked here instead of the Sheraton.

The hotel was situated in a fantastic location. The staff members were not only friendly, but also incredibly helpful and well behaved. The room provided sufficient space. The top-tier utilities, along with the essentials such as towels, mats, and the highly satisfactory bedroom standards

Set in Al Başrah, 100 metres from University of Basrah, Move npic Zenat al Hayat Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The room, the bathroom, the bedsheets..everything was very clean. The room didn’t smell of smoke (which is great as many Hotel’s rooms smell of cigarette) and it was comfortable. As I didn’t feel good, staying in such a hotel helped me a lot to recover. The food served for breakfast was good with quite a wide choice. I had dinner at the restaurant on the rooftop and it was also delicious. The plates are huge so be careful with ordering food:) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they don’t speak English very well and I don’t speak Arabic at all: it is can be difficult to connect and have long conversations together. This doesn’t want to be a bad review, because for the important things we could communicate without any problem. As I was sick, I (unfortunately) didn’t use the spa and the gym and I cannot leave any reviews about them.
