This was a fantastic place to go on safari in the Masai Mara. It was a beautiful location, surrounded by animals, many of which wandered the camp at night. The game drives were very good, lots of information given. We saw everything we wanted to see. The tents are well equipped and comfortable. We had the farthest one away from the lodge but never felt worried or scared by the animals roaming around.

Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Fantastic food. Great location near the park gate. They can also arrange excellent game drives for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve, Basecamp Masai Mara offers eco-friendly, luxury camping in the heart of the Savannah. It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

Greenwood safari camp is a recently renovated campground in Talek where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This campground offers barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Excellent location, plenty of animals close by, right on the border with the park, but not park prices. Swimming pool was a nice surprise after a long safari day. One of the very few if not the only budget option to see the exceptional park. Public transportation from Nairobi with a change in Narok is also relatively easy.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are up-to-date with new WiFi, making it easy to stay connected. You don’t need to worry the insects. Here is clean and tidy. Services are also perfect and sweet. The hot showers are a dream, especially after a long day. When you’re heading to the national park, they’ll delicious breakfast and lunch boxes - they’re a real treat. And at night, the sounds of wildlife create a magical atmosphere. It’s a fantastic experience I highly recommend!
