Great location, We had a marvelous stay in katunayake airport the KINGS GATE HOTEL. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part of the city.

She helped with ordering food take away and was very accommodating with breakfast time, etc. Breakfast very tasty, airport is close by and they offer a cheap lift option.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was modern and spacious as well as comfortable. Employees at hotel were all helpful, friendly and professional. It’s extremely close to the airport so it was perfect for our late arrival.

Jayantha and his wife made sure that they made our stay memorable inspite of checking in at 1130 pm. The following morning they made sure we had our teas and coffes and was also kind enough to drive us to the airport. Another great example of ari lankan hospitality. We only stayed here about 12 hours but my parents totally loved it and loved the hospitality. The building is exceptionally well maintained for being over 100 years old with all the bathrooms upgraded with a modern contemporary minimalist feel with open spaces and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Less than a 3 min drive to the airport, please stay here on your way into and out of colombo especially if a long journey awaits you. Highly recommended. 5/5!!

Otha Shy Airport Hotel offers accommodation in Katunayaka. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Very close to the airport, 3 minute drive by auto rickshaw. Very kind and welcoming hosts; excellent service. Great breakfast with something new every day. Very clean accommodation. Erandi took nice care of me and brought fresh fruit every afternoon and made an excellent breakfast every morning.

Close to the airport, the host was so kind to pick me up at the airport in the middle of the night. As a female solo traveller, that was a big plus! Great traditional breakfast, and much kindness in the house :) I would always come back!
