Aesthetically pleasing! Almost everything is readily available and perfect. Homey and comfy. Very clean house, towels feel fresh and fragrant. Surrounding areas secured and safe. Well equipped high end apartment , also great for any James Bond fans , lots of interesting memorabilia throughout the apartment! Great sea front location , parking outside and friendly welcoming hosts.

This apartment is brilliant, I travelled with my 2 teenagers , they are was thrilled, cozy,comfortable and perfect location. I would definitely come back there,if I have another apportunity .Communication with host was helpful, when I had questions on parking etc.i would recommend to anybody. A+++

Ashbys is by far the best place to stay in the portsmouth area, not only are Steve & Mubi the nicest most accommodating couple you could come across, making visits to Southsea a pleasure, the location of Ashbys for food/Bars and the beach is perfect we have stayed here numerous times now, and will continue to for the foreseeable future I look forward to bringing my friends to experience a long weekend this summer Tom 😃

The hosts were beyond excellent and helpful. The location is not onlly historic for the famous people that live on this Street or on the adjacent corner, but it is within a short walk to food stores and restaurants. Being in our late 70s this was important. Also, this apartment was the cleanest one we have rented since arriving in the UK at the end of December 2023. Added to that is that everything WORKED and nothing was broken or missing. Ample huge towels and no stairs to climb.
