The owner of the Casa Luar was fantastic! He gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. He kept an eye on my car parked across the street from the Casa Luar while we hiked 4 days northbound on the area’s Fisherman’s Path. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh baked bread, excellent coffee, fresh juice, pastries! Very tasty, very convenient and taken together with the room, excellent value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient for our purposes and we were able to feel comfortable about parking our car there while we hiked. As soon as we came back 4 days later to retrieve our car, the owner immediately came out and chatted with us!

Beautifully decorated, clean, bright, lovely staff and wonderful breakfast. We liked it so much we came back for another night for our rest day and the owner was wonderful about accommodating us too. I think it ties for one of our favourite places to stay on the Fisherman’s Trail too.

The host, Anne, exceptional lady, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wishes to spend some time in Milfontes

Situated in the centre of Sagres, this hotel offers self-catering apartments with balconies 500 metres from the Atlantic Coast. The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and laid out. It was a very good size. Everything was well kept and maintained. Spotlessly clean and warm. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us find a mechanic for our car. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area.
