Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. Great inside layout. Has its own washing machine. Great deck with a fantastic view. Easy walk to grocery store and the train station. Plenty of kitchen tools and appliances, nice TV with great cable tv service. We were NOT there during ski season so can't address access to the unit in the snow

The steep up hill walk to the train was hard the first time but got better and always worth it. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner at their restaurant twice and it was fabulous. The rooms were clean, not large and the bathroom was very small but otherwise perfect accommodations. The hotel was very convenient to all the trams and trains. Loved the view from our balcony, the food and this beautiful village of Wengen.
