We were looking for a place to relax, spend time as a family outdoors, and get away from the normal routine of life... we are avid campers, but we decided to give Quinta dos Corgos a try after a stressful year and needing something easy. It was the best decision we've made in awhile as this place exceeded our expectations. We have stayed here 3 times already this year, and we plan to come back year after year. We have 4 kids ranging from 2yrs-9yrs. Between the playground situated between the tents, the mini farm with animals and fruit trees and a garden, the pool and coal-heated jacuzzis, the friendly staff, and the cozy tents, it's an incredible experience not just for the littles ones but for the whole family. The restaurant has delicious food when you want to treat yourself to a meal, but the equipped mini kitchen in the tent also makes it easy to throw meals together. All in all, amazing experience.

Nelo is an awesome host. He provided me with information on where to eat and where to buy groceries. He even offered to pick me up at the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

We had a wonderful stay at SERRA with our family of 5. The design of the hotel is wonderful and very authentic but manages to combine modern touches. The pool is heated and has views of the mountains making it very relaxing. The property is clean and has great facilities within the apartment. Jessica and the team do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing all the information you need - very hospitable. The highlight for my kids was the pond with turtles and fish - a great touch! This is a great spot to explore Serra da Estrela and I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and hope to return one day for another stay! Thank you to the SERRA team!

Excellent location, beautiful space and attention to detail - absolutely perfect breakfast provided. Walking distance to town, castle, parks. Loved every minute. Would come back for a week it was so perfect.

Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!

We loved the walks/trails that were near by, we picked an abundance of fruit from the trees surrounding our accom and enjoyed great chats with our hosts. Our accomodation was extremely comfy,

Zab Living er staðsett í Vila de Rei, í innan við 26 km fjarlægð frá Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao og 48 km frá National Railway Museum. Amazing view, super comfy and quiet bedroom, very nice Decor! Breakfast was really really nice too!
