Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks...
Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks around the Hazards and Wineglass Bay. There's a small store / post office that has all the basics and more, plus a fish & chip shop and great coffee bar/restaurant. Great to stay here for a few days and explore Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville and Wineglass Bay lookout walks. The oyster farm is also well worth a visit.
You definitely need a car to make the most of the area.

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two...
Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two nights and one day that we had. Ideally, two full days if not more. Lots of hiking, beaching, kayaking etc. Loved it. Lucky those who own a house there!

This is an exceptional property to stay at. The beds were comfortable, the view amazing and the staff are very helpful. The location is the best in Coles Bay, especially if you want to see Freycinet mountain and the restaurant (which is not connected to the hotel) has fantastic food.
We loved the wildlife around us, especially the wallabies with their new baby joeys. we highly recommend if you are looking for an unforgettable experience. Don't let price stop you, as it is worth every cent. We would stay again.
Fantastic location. very close to a big restaurant and convenient store and petrol station.
2 minute walk to the Muirs beach. 10 minute walk to the wine glass bay cruise office and fish n chip shop around Coles bay. 10 to 15 minutes to drive to a walking track to Wine Glass Bay Walk.
Clean and spacious room was where on top edge of the property. the lounge and kitchen were spacious. Laundry sink was there for a small item to hand wash.
The location is very good, only few minutes drive to the national park. The food is very tasty and worth a try, both breakfast and dinner!! The bar has a very good view over the beach. You can order a drink and enjoy the sunset at the bar. The room is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There’s a compact kitchen which has everything you need. Bathroom is spacious. Overall, it’s a very food hotel and I think the quality matches the price.
Emily was a fantastic host, very welcoming and informative when we arrived and had the heating on ready for us. The property is gorgeous with fabulous views. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a short stay. The breakfast provisions were generous and it was great to see local ingredients being used. Tank water is used and I washed my hair and it felt amazing - best it had been on my trip!
A beautiful place for our family to relax and unwind and explore the local area and Freycinet National Park. Stunning views from almost every room overlooking Coles Bay. The house was well set up for families, no clutter but very clean, comfortable, sunny and provided everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Looks and feels new which is nice. It is located outside of the Coles Bay township. Good size kitchen. The Deck is a nice addition. Overall it was a nice place to stay. There is a drug pickup location at the bus top if you are after something illegal. not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
New property in new development close to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park opposite play area for children. Newly furnished and deck at 2 sides. Quiet area and we’ll located with 2 convenience stores at Coles Bay (little fresh food) and many pleasant cafes close by.
Very clean and comfortable. The heater warmed the place very quickly. Lovely view from the living room - very relaxing. Very convenient for Coles Bay. Phil was very responsive when we had a small problem, too.
Beautiful location in the wilderness. Saw multiple wallabies and a wombat. We stayed in the villa, which was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. 10-15 minute drive to Coles Bay/Freycinet. Friendly staff.
Great setting, fantastic camp site with a pub, cafe and local shop and ATM all just a few steps away.
The cabin was well laid out, extremely clean and cosy.
