Travelling for work I felt safe and rested at this hotel. Staff were friendly and easily assisted with my late check in time. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable for a one night stay. Easy drive up parking. No mini bar, but they supply fresh milk and a good selection of drinks / snacks available at reception. Would stay here again 😀

The only thing i would say is it needs drinking glasses, not just 2 wine glasses and 2 coffee cups. Otherwise the location is [perfect and it was great for a nights stay.

Set across more than 12 acres on the shores of Piper’s Bay in Wallis Lake, Lakeside Forster Holiday Park and Village offers a heated swimming pool and a children’s playground.

Great location, neat as a pin and beautiful gardens the overall look and feel of the park complemented the comfortable nature of the cabin we stayed in. Catching up with family where everyone can stay in their own cabin and be close enough to spend time without being in each others pockets was amazing.

    The restaurants and cafes are fantastic.

    The restaurants and cafes are fantastic. A tour on Wallis lake is a must to do when in Forster. If you have kids take them to the Lions Club Putt Putt Golf and Trampolines, it is cheap and great fun, whilst supporting a charity.

    What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw...

    What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw dolphins! Four winds was the most well stocked kitchen we have ever experienced. Even suppling TimTams. Our stay was amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer.

    Excellent, cleanliness room, bed so comfortable.

    Excellent, cleanliness room, bed so comfortable. I highly recommend. The only fault not happy the shower head, it would be nice to put handheld shower than fix shower. Everything excellent room spacious very clean.

    Highly recommend staying in Forster and especially at Astina Suits. The location is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is so close. The beaches are clean, with easy access and are absolutely beautiful. So many lovely places to eat both near the water and near shops.

    What we liked most was that it was close to a cafe across the road from us where we had breakfast.I would recommend to book as it was quite busy.It was also close to the hotel where we had a couple of cold beers & also we had tea there one night.There are quite a few nice shops in the main street of forster.

    Foster is beautiful, quiet with nice places to eat & great beaches. We love the bridge joining Forster & Tuncurry. Nice friendly community & we enjoyed the Sunday church service at Holy Name of Jesus. Great to see the pelicans & dolphins as we strolled around the river

    I was well surprised, photos and descriptions did not do it justice. I was devastated about leaving in 2 days for another hotel once I got there. Beautiful, modern, clean, great living room, great kitchen, great rooms and the best bathroom. So many things provided which are not usually included in units or cabins, like lots of toilet paper! My kids loved this place too. We had one of many BBQ’s right in front of our place and also the pool and tennis court. Also, so close to everything. I will definitely be visiting again.

    Golden Sands is an older style hotel, but excellent location, clean, and represents good value for money. Forster is a homely & family friendly beach location, not fancy nor expensive. People greet each other on walking tracks. Reserves & facilities are well maintained by local council. We are an older couple who booked 19-22.12.21 less than a week before, and would happily return to the same hotel in Forster

    Excellent location. We could walk to river and Hotel and the bowling club is next door. Easy drive to shops and beach. The pool was clean and tidy and enjoyed my swim. Clean and tidy rooms with good facilities and the receptionist who greeted us was courteous and professional with a great friendly personality. Cleaning staff that we would see in the morning were also friendly and polite.

    It was fine for a short stay on the way down south, The value for money was excellent, and Forster/Tuncurry is a beautiful place. The facilities were clean and well-kept. The area was spacious and there was plenty of room in the cabin. The beds are a bit worn and the lining is wearing off but quite comfortable, and the cabins have lots of beds.

    We just needed to find a reasonably priced hotel to sleep in overnight that didn't look like you'd get murdered in. This was a pleasant surprise and very clean and comfortable too. Near a major shopping centre and a tavern (with interesting locals) but i would definitely stay here again especially for the price, friendly staff and comfy bed.

    Very convenient location , room was comfortable and very clean. Very glad to be able to stay in a motel in the heart of Forster with my dog. Appreciated the info provided about dog friendly cafes and park facilities. My dog had a great visit to the Tuncurry dog park the next day.

    The location was great. Really close to Main Beach (walking distance), it had a nice pool, and access after hours. The laneway behind leads straight to the local shops.
