It does have an odor sometimes because of the industrial businesses. (Pulp mill). The homeless issue is quite bad as Prince George is a central hub in the province. There are many restaurants to choose from and (what I consider) a lot of shopping options.

The PG Sandman Signature was horrific.

The PG Sandman Signature was horrific. A hockey team’s bus was left running all night right outside 4 floors of rooms. Noise complaint not addressed. Hot water took 15 minutes to heat to even a luke warm temp. Only 1 elevator in working order. Face cloth in bathroom was blood stained. Toilet seat would not remain up. No breakfast offered or available. Limited parking. Language barrier with staff.

Prince George does not feel like a city to us.

Prince George does not feel like a city to us. Instead it feels like 4/5 separate communities that happen to overlap a bit. This is largely due to the downtown area which has the potential to be quite fabulous feeling abandoned and shabby (with the exception of a few nice places to eat and a lovely coffee shop called Rituals). The various communities are pretty much like their own mini towns with a mall of some kind in the centre and so have no need to venture out of their area, and there is not enough in downtown currently to make it a destination. Though there are a few must sees like Connaught Park.

Our satnav took us a round about way to arrive at the property and it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere so when we arrived to the warmest of welcomes from the owner we were immediatley reassured. The cottage had everything we needed and it was great to meet the horses and dogs (even though I'm allergic to both they were irrestibly friendly!). We also loved the humming bird feeder. A little bit out of Prince George but easy enough to get there and back and such a comfortable place to stay and enjoy the ranch atmosphere.

I love everything about The Ramada Hotel downtown Prince George. This is My Place to stay now when I go to Prince George. I have stayed ib several hotels in Prince George and The Ramada has definitely Won Me Over! I don't really have any desire to even try a different hotel in Prince George anymore as I am absolutely satisfied and comfortable with the location, the rooms and the service I have experienced at The Ramada By Wyndham Prince George, BC.

The room was beautiful, and the bathroom was so big, you could actually move around in there. And the price was great; we just stayed in Kelowna, Kamloops, during our holiday and now the Courtyard By Marriott in Prince George; NOT only was it the most beautiful decor and cleanest and most comfortable of all three hotels, but is it was also the cheapest one. A real value in todays inflation.

The property was under renovation which was not good. I complained to the management and she was very helpful and understanding. I would recommend this hotel as long as the manager is the same. She is smart and knows the business. The room was clean but the shower needed to be fixed. I trust when I return again all will be done.

The front deck clerk when we checked in was super helpful and very nice! Hotel is very clean, comfy, the pool was great and nice that it is open early. The gym is open 24 hours and looked very nice, unfortunately I didn't have time to try it out...next time! Check out was super easy. Thank you for a great stay!!

The location is good, I really appreciate the underground locked parking, it is one of the many reasons I stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Prince George. The rooms are always clean, the staff is always kind and helpful, the pool and hot tub are very nice, clean, and a good size. The room sizes are Great!

We arrived for one night in July. Reception staff was OK - got the feeling they were new. We got rooms on the same floor, but not together as requested. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept well. Departure was fine. We recommend this hotel for a budget stay in downtown Prince George.
