We slept for a night in January and our stay was great. 5 minutes from the Train station and 5 from the shopping area. Easy self check in and building access by pin code. Very nice clean room, with a modern and spacious bathroom. On arrival we found welcome drinks and snacks. Good value for money, we'll be back for sure when in town.

It's all about the outlet shopping.
It's all about the outlet shopping. It's very nicely integrated into an existing small town, very tidy and respectful of pedestrians. The best outlet in Europe still, in my opinion. The restaurants are so-so, and some of the better reviewed ones are quite a walk from the hotel; and most are closed on Sundays, as the outlet is also closed then

Metzingen is an outlet city, full of shops of different brands. You can find high end few thousents euro stuff by Armani of Larph laurem, but if You search You can also find great deals like for 20-50 euro. My wife is always happy to be there and look for a great deals.

The outlet city is superb.
The outlet city is superb. It is beautifully laid out and seems to offer all brands, but visibly with considerable discounts. Not many hotels to choose from. Lots of multi storey car parks for parking.

There is a lot of Factory outlet and with good price. E.g we can buy Nike zoom vapor 10 for 35 Euro, Hugo Boss shirt for 54 Euro, not forget to mention Gucci and Eitienne Aigner, Lots of discount. The staff of most Outlet are very Amazing and Helpfull, e.g Hugo Boss, Aigner, Nike, Breitling, Swatch. No worries about connection. There are Wi-Fi connection everywear. There is Easy to find something to eat. Try chinesse restorant at the central station. Take away box is delicious and not expensive. I didn't see what the excitement was about... It's a VERY big shopping area with all the famous names but we couldn't really find too much and the prices were not all that attractive. But it depends what you are looking for.
