Good transport links from station-efficient tram system + Superb Steam Railway.Quaint old town. Excellent Restaurants, especially Namaste. Shanghai Tokyo Sushi & Acropolis good too. Only down side was dearth of Public Toilets.The absence of Public toilets from the station is a disgrace .

Hotel Reception recommended a brilliant Italian restaurant around the corner from the hotel for supper. The breakfast was very delicious with many options for vegetarians. In the morning, Reception then recommended us Landesgartenschaugelände Nordhausen - my young daughter and I had an amazing time at this scenic park which is just 10mins walk from the hotel. We will definitely return here next time.

Good for 1 night but has all the amenities for a long term stay as well. Large, clean and fancy new rooms with a kitchen plus big refrigerator surprisingly. Do make sure to check in remotely before you reach. It is no fun to scamper around in front of the door to get all the details in if you are in a hurry to hit the bed.NNikitaGermany

Tha apartment is fine, shower (private) and kitchen outside the main room, ensuite toilet. The hosts are extremely nice and they run a very good restaurant downstairs. The shower is great with a very hot water and hi-pressure. Anything is tidy and clean.

You'd expect such a place in a tourist attraction with a much higher price level. I doubt I'll ever visit Nordhausen ever again, but if so - I'll book here

With my in/out times I didn't speak to any staff, my keys had been left on reception. Outside of Nordhausen it's an easy 12min walk to the tram stop & there is a bus stop nearby.
