Excellent, clear comms with host prior to stay.
Good location, and only a short distance from central Farnham.
Easy WiFi access, great connection throughout visit.
Large, spacious lodge, which would have been ideal had my family been able to travel with me - all the amenities you could need for a short break.
The outdoor bbq and seating would be great of a summer evening, just needs cleaning down so useable.

Had two rounds of golf booked at Hankley Common which is only 2 miles or 5 minute drive down the road. The a great little country pub perfectly situated with good food, nice rooms although a little small and lovely friendly staff. My room had a complimentary bottle of flavoured gin, also there is a small room called The study on the first floor which was a small seating area that had plenty of books for a nice quiet read, a radio should you want to listen and also a bottle of Glenfiddich single malt scotch you could help yourself to. Nice touch!
I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area…

Returning after attending college here 40 years ago it was wonderful to see the overall charm hadn’t changed, the period buildings, the quirky “yards” and churches, pubs and laneways means Farnham is still a beautiful place to visit. Plenty to investigate.
Shops have changed or updated but the character still invites a thorough walk around town.
Further afield delivers the pleasures of rural Surrey, Farnham and the environs, are in my opinion well worth a visit.

Beautiful forest, quiet lanes with wonderful views.
Beautiful forest, quiet lanes with wonderful views. Small village, a slow pace of life, just what I needed after a hard working week. Farnham recharged my batteries and I would love to come back again soon. I expect the lovely sunny warm weather helped in this idyllic place, but I cannot imagine it ever looking gloomy! We stayed in the Frensham Pond Hotel, just gorgeous, but we ventured out to eat. We found 3 pubs all pretty close (within a 2 minute drive of each other) all serving food. Our lunches were absolutely spot on, and with lovely gardens to enjoy them in. Like everywhere these days, look out for the pot holes!
Host was very welcoming and went over and above to accommodate us.
The bed was comfortable and we were provided with towels, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.
The room and bathroom are both spacious despite being in the loft and felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel, it is so well decorated.
The location is great and just a few minutes walk to Farnham station.
The Bel and Dragon group are AWESOME! top quality rooms. charming locations. fabulous staff. fantastic food. Totally recommend them!
This is the second hotel of the group I’ve stayed at and they are reassuringly the same high standard.
Huge well done to the owners & staff - superb! When I’m next I. the area you will be my go to booking. Thank you!!
I like that I am familiar with the hotel as I have been staying for many years with my family prior to the name change and renovation. has spa and swim area and I love the fact it has a restaurant bar and afternoon tea. I have also secured date to come back in October for a wedding close by.
So we had a call from Farnham House saying they had issues at the hotel and would be transfered to their sister hotel ten minutes down the road. So can't rate this hotel but their sister hotel in Alton was let's say doing their best in the situation.
Across the street from a lovely pub, and short walk to beautiful Churt Common. Cozy, and clean with very friendly and accommodating hosts. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to call it home away from home. Highly recommend
Nice hotel. Little bit out of the way on the outskirts of Farnham and next to a large lake. Frensham Pond is pretty and well maintained. I like the rooms as they're a decent size and the facilities include a gym and decent bar
This was an ideal location for my trip to play golf at Hankley Common GC. The room, comfortable and clean. Evening meal, excellent and I had a continental breakfast which was just right.
Room was clean as were all of the other facilities. Staff were all very charming.
Great outdoor eating / drinking areas on balmier evenings, over looking the lake.
The hotel is very centrally located. Farnham is very pretty. Very nice gardens. The toiletries were really nice quality. It was good to have free parking.
