We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived early. We had a delicious evening meal although we didn’t need so many chips. It was perfectly situated for us to visit family

    We most enjoyed our visit to the little township of Tain and...

    We most enjoyed our visit to the little township of Tain and it's museum and ancient church, once a place of pilgrimage. One of the volunteer guides was a wonderful and knowledgeable raconteur. He is a highlight of our trip to Scotland. A visit to the Glenmorangie Distillery is worthwhile. While you're there find out about the project (DEEP) to reintroduce native oysters to the estuary. The information booth has lots of material aimed for children.
