Breakfast was fine, perhaps the staff could have been a little more cheerful. Rooms were fine with bedding and towels brilliant white. The White Hart is in an excellent position in Exeter - very central and reasonable. The car parking facilities are an absolute bonus. Thank you White Hart, have stayed before and will be back again.

It was close to the Cathedral which is why I booked it. I loved the history of the house and grand but homely feel of the place. The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend it especially with the added mushrooms. I had tofu, roast tomatoes, spinach and large field mushrooms on sourdough. You don't have to be a vegetarian to like this!!

The location by the river Exe was superb, especially on a warm sunny day. The menu was better than your normal pub grub albeit slightly limited. Very clean and comfortable.
