We have been traveling from Dublin, and after a long day at the cliffs of Moher, it was such a treat to arrive to some local hospitality and definitely the best dinner we have had since arriving in Ireland.
Wonderful staff, comfortable stay, and would definitely remember this little gem!
Doolin Inn is situated in Doolin, overlooking Fisher Street and located at the start of the Cliffs of Moher walk. This 3-star hotel offers a conierge service, full of knowledge of the local area.

Liscannor is a perfect spot.
Liscannor is a perfect spot. Everything is on your doorstep and is somewhat quieter then Lahimch. There are a few bars and places to eat but there is nothing better to just sit down and enjoy a few pints with the most friendly people after a day of walking over the magnificent Cliffs on Moher or indeed any of the other major attractions in Clare

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting into the cottage on arrival, but within half an hour we were helped into the cottage.
You get glimpses of the stunning ocean view from the kitchen and upstairs. The sliding door needs a little attention as it was very difficult to open, to such an extent that we just used the other door.
The 2 rooms are cozy and spacious, not much room for clothing though and the wardropes was a little wobbly, as it would keep falling of the rails when you open them.
There is only 1 shower and toilet in the cottage, on the ground floor, which is not great for going to the toilet at night, so just a heads-up for the elderly or folks with younger kids.
The overall layout is very clever and neat. It was spotless and very cozy, once you left the property you have breathtaking views of the ocean. No shops or amenities that we could find that is in short walking distance, but close enough to get to with a car.
Very quick to get to the cliffs of moher, which was the highlight of the trip, unfortunately the weather was not very pleasant, but still worth the trip.
Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of course the Anchor Inn - a great place to stay and eat. It is an ideal base to explore Clare and to visit nearby Lahinch and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We had the bikes and cycling in the area is relatively safe and a great way to see the local scenery. The Rock Shop is well worth a visit for either gifts or a coffee and snack.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher. You can start a cliff walk from there or go to Geuiran’s Path for a shorter walk. €5 per adult entry to the car park is excellent value. Have coffee in the Rock cafe after. Fabulous food and location.

Liscannor is a lovely little spot .
Liscannor is a lovely little spot . We had lunch in hotel and it was lovely. Covid restrictions in place .petrol station had no sanitisers but staff were lovely . The public house beside where we stayed Joseph mchugh is a disaster. No social distancing at all for the locals . They stand at the bar drinking and no a sign of a toasted sandwich. Did not feel safe in there at all . Finished our food and left . We were refused a drink during to restrictions but the locals drank like a normal Saturday night . No masks on staff after 10 30 . This place lowers the tone of a beautiful place . The best place to eat is Vaughan anchor Inn. Omg fine dining in an amazing setting. Covid rules adhered to %100 . Food was amazing and staff very helpful.
Bay View is in a stunning location right on the water at liscannor pier, sound of the water alone makes this 5 star! Susanne went above and beyond for us during our stay even had a fire lit on our arrival. The extra touches would fill a page! We visited doolin, lahinch, ennistymon and Spanish Point for a sunday swim with snámhaí sasta the craic was mighty highly recommend. Perfect location to explore Clare will definitely return soon. Thank you Susanne for an amazing few days!
Stunning location and the Rose Meadow Lodge is amazing. It's really cosy and has everything you could need. All the little touches and finishes are beautiful, and no stone has been left unturned. Couldn't recommend highly enough for anyone hoping to explore west Clare. Perfect location. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was very helpful and friendly and gave us some local tips which were brilliant. Thanks Jackie.
This was the best rental we’d ever stayed at. The location was absolutely stunning - Susanne welcomed us and immediately pointed out a seal just off in the distance. The view of the water was stunning and the house is so charming. Incredibly cozy beds and pillows. Convenient location for exploring Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way. We so wished we could have spent more time there!
The Boathouse is really well set up. There were a couple of small things that could be improved, but I have already told out host about them. The location was lovely right next to the little Liscannor harbour. It was within easy walking distance of good places to eat and not far from a beach. Would definitely recommend the Boathouse.
Fantastic nature with The Cliffs of Moher in sunshine and only three drops of rain! Walked from parking Cliffs, Liscannor to Doolin. Absolutely recommended.
And then a lovely and tasty dinner at the Anchor Inn afterwards. A great place with very nice staff giving us a lot of good travel recommendations!
Jonny and Eihmin are exceptional and kind hosts: they gave us many tips about they places we planned to visit.
Their place is very nice and is situated in a strategic position to get to the main attractions of county Clare and in particular the Cliffs of Moher.
Super suggested! 👍🏻
Aiteall was amazing. It is surrounded by the Ireland countryside, the house is very cozy, clean, and relaxing. You feel like you’re visiting family. The breakfast was delicious. And, Johnny is very kind, welcoming, and helpful.
The dinner was phenomenal, some of the best food we had all trip, even the little breakfast food truck in the morning. Staff was extremely helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great location next to a couple fun pubs.
The staff are really kind and they are passionate to help people. The room is absolutely clean and quiet. Breakfast is good. Really close to Cliffs of Moher about 3-4 min drive. Enjoy the sunset and the country life.
The property is super close to the Cliffs of Moher as well as a small waterfront town where there’s plenty of food options. The rooms where not cramped at all and we’re very clean, not to mention well taken care of.
Location was amazing, easy to get to Doolin, Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch.
The property was spacious and perfect for our family of 6.
Loved the binder with all the information it was quite helpful.
nice little room above the pub and restaurant, friendly staff, and perfect location if you’re planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher. I wish we would’ve had more time to do the hike from Liscannor!
Lovely place near the Cliffs of Moher.
The cottage is new and very comfortable with a beautiful view.
