The value of the property is amazing. Two stories. The first level has a sitting room, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and even a back porch where you can hang your laundry. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and two more bathrooms. Plenty of space and a nicely furnished home.
Vincent is a charming and interesting gentleman who will give you the shirt off of his back. We even met up with him at Nolan’s bar and he bought us some drinks. If you want an authentic Irish experience, come here.

We were provided with things I didn't expect like:- tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, cake, fruit, butter, honey.
The lady we met (Nora) who handed us the key and was acting on behalf of the property owner was delightful and so helpful.

Beautiful location on a hill top. The lodge looks like a converted stable on a sizable estate. Everything was top notch. The friendly cats made my daughter’s day.

Rosscabery is on the main road 1 hour outside of Cork.
Rosscabery is on the main road 1 hour outside of Cork. For the pennisulars bw Cork and Killarney you need your own transport.
The Rosscabery Pennisular or finger has some spectacular beaches. From Bethel Guesthouse you have a sea view to Owenahincha area. Closest beaches are a five minute walk-Little Island Bay Beach. Warren Beach is a scenic Cliff Walk to reach. Long Strand is in the other direction but close.
Bethel Guesthouse provided all I needed but their are amneties in the small village, a Spar — groceries & petrol near the highway exit.

Jim and Margaret are amazing hosts
It was a great pleasure to stay in your magnificent house. In our opinion the word 5 star hotel would be more appropriate. Breakfast, instead of just a continental we were treated to Jim's special pear and strawberries, cheeses etc...
In true Irish fashion that you both looked after all your guests needs and questions.
Your great kindness shown to us was much appreciated and thank you for your helpfulness.
All been well on our next visit to West Cork, Bethal House will be our first port of call.

Relaxed atmosphere around Rosscarberry Sq.
Relaxed atmosphere around Rosscarberry Sq. Disappointed the Lagoon activity centre had closed at the end August. Smugglers Cove well worth a visit for the crazy golf, Most local restaurants quite expensive and require advance booking. Village has one pub with reasonably priced food, a very comprehensive Londis store and two take-aways (Chinese and traditional Chipper). Local hotel (Celtic Ross) was not admitting non-residents at the time due to Covid. Local beaches all good. Short car journey on good roads to Clonakilty and Skibbereen. Great views from Glandore

We're regular visitors to Roscarberry, it's a beautiful place to visit with lots to do and see and lots of activities for all the family. Ross is an ideal place to base yourself in order to visit all the attractions that west Cork has to offer. This is the first time that we stayed at Ross Nua and we were more than happy with it, the house is exceptional, very comfortable, lovely hosts and with all mod cons.

We had a wedding in the Celtic Ross Hotel, which is a very nice place. We ate dinner there on the second day, which was very enjoyable. We would have liked if we had more time to walk around and see Roscarbery and the Beaches close by.

Our stay at The CoachHouse was wonderful!
Our stay at The CoachHouse was wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views from every direction, even from the inside of the house. Rosscarbery is a picturesque, quaint little town, with excellent restaurants. Fiona, our host, could not have been more welcoming and friendly, and made us feel immediately at home.
Really easy check-in, Vincent welcomed us on arrival and showed us the property. Really nice accommodations, large space for 3 people - this was great after having stayed in smaller hotels. Since we only stayed overnight, we didn't get to use all the amenities, which were many. Muffins, milk and coffee were a bonus for a quick breakfast in the morning before we hit the road. Vincent also greeted us when we were ready to check out and gave us a scratch-off ticket! It was St. Patty's Day. :)
Big thanks to Leonard for facilitating ur stay in beautiful rosscarbery.. it was like home away from home..everything we needed was there, clean ,comfortable and spacious..loads of room for the kids to play in the walled garden..I contacted Leonard while we were there and he suggested few places for us to visit..Warren beach is a must and smugglers cove was great fun for the kids..all in all we had a great weekend and will be visiting again soon
Excellent hosts - thank you Majella and Jim! Nicely appointed comfortable room with clean and well-equipped private bathroom. Access to patio and garden is a great feature. Plenty of places to drink and eat in walking distance. Majella gave us recommendations for breakfast, although as we had to get on the road early, we pre-arranged breakfast at the Celtic Ross Hotel and that was good value and excellent.
Margaret and Jim were the most welcoming and attentive of hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our room was impeccably clean and the house was only a few minutes from both beach and the village of Rosscarbery. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much again Margaret and Jim (fingers crossed the Liam McCarthy Cup comes back to Cork this year!)
Rosscarbery is a beautiful traditional village with friendly local people with exceptional dining and your picture postcard village pub (Nolan’s)
Ross Nua is situated with brilliant access to all the village amenities and Vincent & Frances are fantastic hosts, everything thing associated with Ross Nua is ten out of ten and is shining example of Irish hospitality ☘️
Honestly everything about the stay was perfect, hotel quality rooms with a family atmosphere. Best nights sleep and amazing breakfast, and it was lovely chatting to the owners and getting to know about the area.
Wish we could have stayed longer than one night, it was perfect in every way.
The location is right in the centre of Rosscarbery, the property is well equipped, stylish, private and spacious. The welcome was warm and informative. Check out was quick and simple. I would highly recommend RossNua, and will probably stay there again.
An extremely comfortable and clean hotel with a great view of the bay. Well situated for visits to Skibbereen and coastal destinations. Nice touches included complimentary eco slippers and a kettle, bottled water and tea bags to make a cuppa.
