We found this town a little boring. Although it is a perfect starting point for a ferry trip to Donkey Island (with bikes rented in town), or for an intermediate stop on a journey, but not worth spending even one full day.

Visiting Porto Torres off season (October) is for those who wants to relax, walk on the beach or rent a bike and discover landscape. Most of the restaurant and shops were closed, bus operation was limited to one line. But still you cen enjoy the nature, sea and views from hill. I recommend visiting ancient roman bath and Porto Romano, bridge made of stone situated north west of the town.

Small town and good local beach with connections to other fabulous beaches outside of town. Poor information re onward connection to ferry to Barcelona. No show of shuttle bus to ferry at stated time.

There is however also a sink and a tap in the bedroom. Enough privacy and everything you need for a short stay. They were very very kind. The place is a bit old and it feels more like a hosting family than a hotel. All in all I think it is a good deal, especially when you are traveling alone and need a refuge for the night or catching an early ferry.NoorBelgium
