Amazing stay! Don't hesitate to book a room here. We are walking the Via Degli Dei and this was our first accommodation. Anna and Andrea were more than welcoming and the place was absolutely lovely. Would return a hundred times over. Thank you!

A beautiful ducal palace with special history.
A beautiful ducal palace with special history. There is a good cafe in the grounds, a great restaurant, a wide selection of local wines and foods. There are interesting country walks, our dog loved it. The staff are kind and interested in the welfare of guests. The restaurant service was first class, not intrusive but we did not have to wait long for service. Quality of the food was excellent, the best steak and lamb that we have had in over twenty years of visiting Italy. We will return next time we drive through the area.

We stayed for 1-1 nights and we were maximally satisfied with everything. The accommodation is easily accessible, in a very quiet, relaxing location. There is a restaurant nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable, Breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is closed. Veronica and everyone are very kind.
We were maximally satisfied. Next time we will choose La Quercia :)

We booked a family room for 3 which was a good size.
We booked a family room for 3 which was a good size. Temperatures were in the 30s and the room did get quite hot but we requested a fan and all slept well. A great base to visit several places. As well as central Bologna, we drove to Lake Garda, Venice and Florence. Evening meal is one sitting served from about 8pm. We came back for dinner each night and made our way through the menu over the week. Max, the chef, even had a few specials for us as we staying for 8 nights. A car was essential for our itinerary and it was quite a steep climb up the hill. Beware the nearest entry/exit to the toll road is Telepass only - don't blindly follow your sat-nav or it will cost you (we had to pay a fine!)
What a hidden gem. Found this place by accident while looking for a last minute stay around Bologna airport (just 15mins away).
From the first moments in this “palace” (Palazzo), we felt like we have travelled back in time. Very nice and impressive historical building, with so much character.
There is very well equipped kitchen if you desire to eat in.
Overall, a great value for what you pay! If i will ever be around that area, i would book this place no doubts.
The location, the setting, the room, the general atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. Roberto and his staff could not have been more helpful. Far enough from Bologna to be in a beautiful rural setting, with access to some wonderful countryside, the property was within very easy reach of main roads or the train in to Bologna, where a quick and inexpensive return journey ( 25 minutes) could be found. Breakfast was excellent.
Staying for a layover after first leg of Via Degli Dei, the room had everything we needed. The shower was great. Comfortable bed. Central to Sasso Marconi. Great restaurant and bars down the road. Friendly staff, and basic but decent breakfast.
NB: for those doing VDD, it's relatively easy to get back to the track but it adds an hour onto your journey so we advise to adjust your walking plan accordingly.
Everything was perfect. The villa is located in a wonderful area with superb views, it has a nice garden. The rooms, livingroom and kitchen are equipped with everything needed, it is very clean, the house has a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Hosts are really nice and helpful, there is nothing I can complain of. The villa can be reached only by car, but it is not far from Bologna.
Roberto and his wife were so very gracious to us as we came in late and they insured we were able to get something to eat, provided a bottle of wonderful wine, and their olive oil for our meal. We met their two children. What a wonderful place and family. What a great location next to Sasso Marconi and in the beautiful country. 20 minutes by train into the center of Bologna.
The hotel was brilliant. Staff were really accommodating when we used a baggage transfer service, and happy to help us plan where to buy food on Easter Sunday. Our room was very clean and shower was great. Bed was comfortable. Our room had a beautiful terrace and a hot tub, and the price was extremely reasonable. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious too.
We very much enjoyed staying at La Quercia. It was comfortable, spacious and quiet. We liked having an area outside to sit and the facilities were well-cared for. The breakfast was amazing and we looked forward to that each day we stayed there. La Quercia is a great option if you want to stay outside the city. We would stay here again if we return to Bologna.
Excellent hotel/apartment and central location!
New and refreshed design, very comfortable beds and great facilities with a bonus of a Jacuzzi and sauna!
We had a great stay in there, really enjoyed the town and the lovely community.
Really close to a train station which is a great bonus to commute without a car to Bologna.
Greatly recommended!
Hotel is in an old manor, belonging to the Bevilacqua family and is a monument. The rooms are renovated with all the latest comforts. Great staff. Good restaurant, although the cook should use less salt on the sauces and meats. Breakfast was good. Private parking. Very silent.
Lovely picturesque location in the hills south of Bologna. We travelled with a car, so it was easy to get to the house. The breakfast was wonderful and the lady that was preparing it on our first morning was so friendly.
The hotel with the soul - in a perfect place with a breathtaking view, designed with a lot of love and care for details, with an excellent staff that does everything for your stay to be perfect, very clean. Just perfect
The host was very welcoming. The room was bigger than expected. The breakfast with own produce was delicious. We did not visit Sasso Marconi but this BnB was located just outside of town in a peaceful countryside area.
Pros:
- Rich breakfast homemade
- nice location with such a marvelous landscape
- price per value restaurant and hotel in general
- excellent room cleaning
- kind owners

EVERYTHING. THe Location, the hospitality, the rooms, the lovely views and the food. IT was an incredible experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend this hotel experience to anyone!!!!! BRAVA!!
That day I made the reservation, I paid for the night but it was closed that night. The hotel was closed when I arrived. I phoned them many, many times but I got no answer. I paid 70 € for nothing.
