Tepoztlan is one of Mexico's Pueblos Magicos and as the name...
Tepoztlan is one of Mexico's Pueblos Magicos and as the name implies, it is MAGICAL. it's definitely the most picturesque and beautiful place I've been. The Zócalo (public square) has a market teeming with life and fun artisan goods. The streets are lined with old buildings and traditional handcrafts. The plants flower and the views from wherever you are are breathtaking. It's a quieter town, so don't expect a ton of nightlife, especially on weekdays, but if you're feeling overwhelmed by CDMX, a trip to Tepoztlan is exactly what you need to recharge your batteries. Be sure to stop at Tepoznieves for some ice cream, and grab a Sandia (watermelon) agua fresca from the Zócalo.
If you're a gringo like me, know that very few people will speak English. Learn some Spanish, or download Spanish on Google translate so you can communicate offline. Additionally, the streets are STEEP. my buddy's cheap Chingan rental car literally could not make it up the hills, and we likely killed the clutch on a single hill. Taxis seem to be bulletproof tho, no issues on hills.

Beautiful small town, make sure you wear confortable shoes, no heels, its hard to walk on the streets because they are made out of rocks.
I recomend to start your walk around early because there will be no vendors and you will be able to take the best pictures.
We started early around 7am, there was no vendors, we took some beautiful pictures.

The hotel is stunning, the view is beautiful, the food is amazing. The staff is rude and none responsive. The sheets were dirty. We could hear the people in the room upstairs all night. It is not a quiet place at all. It is impossible to sleep there. Too much noise.

The staff including the owner, Yonatan, went above and beyond. Minerva took care of our room and our breakfast. We were given other options for breakfast at a very minimal price. Minerva went to the extent of taking our clothes to the cleaners. Amazing attention to all our needs!!!
My stay at Casa Naâmja was exceptional. I had a wonderful stay and want to extend my gratitude to everyone at Casa Naâmja. The hotel is beautifully designed, the food is delicious and healthy, and the views looking out onto the pool or the courtyard or from the terrace are amazing. That being said, it's really the care and thoughtfulness shown by Josué and the staff that really took my stay to another level. I'm very grateful to them and hope to come back to stay with them again in the future!
Breakfast (and all food in general) was extraordinary! The staff was super helpful and efficient.
We got a room called "Bambu" (a master suite) next to the pool and separated from the other rooms, which was great for privacy. The hotel has very few rooms so it's a great place to relax and enjoy a calm weekend at Tepoztlan. The room had a private terrace on top with a wonderful view and we were able to have dinner there instead of in the restaurant. We will definitely come back.
This little quiet spot is far enough away from the hussle and bussle of Tepoztlan so you can get a decent nights sleep. and only a 5/10 minute walk to the action.
the room was spotlessly clean! and the pillows and bed comfortable.
the Wi-Fi was okay - don’t expect to be doing anything too crazy on it though!
the woman who runs the hostel is so lovely and helpful - she made everything a lot easier for me as a solo traveller so a special thank you to her.
The breakfast was wonderful. The guy who served us, Rodrigo was so lovely! He made our stay even more magical. The Temazcal ceremony and massages were lovely. There's a magic in Tepoztlan and the energy there was amazing. We met really lovely people while we stayed at Hotel Mistico.
Very nice hotel! Felt like a true get-away from the city and the tiny house concept was great to stay in. It was modern, stylish, and had very good architecture. The pool was so nice to swim in the hot weather. The food was also very good.
The view from our room was amazing, you could see the whole mountain. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very nice and helpful. The posada was located one block away from downtown Tepoztlán, which was very convenient.
the common area is amazing, very large hotel.
the view is stunning, the landscape is well maintained. the pool was very nice too. the Wi-Fi is great but there’s lots of networks to connect to. location is excellent.
Flor y Canto Hotel is a great place to stay. Alejandra the owner and Rubi and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make our stay great. Alejandra even gave us a room with a balcony.
