The renovations made to the hotel has kept it as one of my absolute FAVORITE. Perfect location, wood floors, so no nasty carpets, wonderful staff and the breakfast was delicious! Good value for money. It's simple but good enough if you are looking for an economic option. I stayed on the 3rd-floor in a 2-room, 1-bathroom area with my family and we had a good restful night. There was some noise outside, some kind of noisy machine (I don't know whether it belonged to the hotel or to some construction outside) but it stopped strictly at 10pm and then it the setting was mostly quiet even if the rooms are not soundproof.

Everything excels at this Quinta. Every time we come, we feel like it is the home of our dreams. The last time we were here, Antonio asked us to please come back and bring friends. We did and it was a highlight of our friends' trip. The ambiance, the history, the amazing grounds, the customer service - all are above par.
