Charming and lovingly maintained independent living area with a complete kitchen and all the accessories one might need throughout. The location is rural, quiet and beautiful with easy access by car to nearby Galena and the Mississippi River as well as numerous parks and natural reserves for walking, sightseeing, etc. Our hosts were as accommodating as they were discreet; the breakfasts were abundant, delicious and healthy, including homemade baked treats, and served at our convenience.

Super close to downtown Galena. Rooms were spacious and clean. Very minimal noise. Slept comfortably. Breakfast was nice and tasty. Staff was really nice and accommodating when our water got shut off in the morning. We would definitely stay here again. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in.

This was our very first visit to Galena, and we truly can't wait to do it again! Best Western was a great place to stay would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was phenomenal. We truly can't speak highly enough about Miriam the front desk agent 🫶🏻 From the first moment we met her for our check-in till the time we checked out she is an absolute fabulous employee you have there. We told her at our checkout we truly hope we see her again & will definitely look her up next time we visit Galena Illinois!!! 💕

We loved everything about the house. The living room on the last floor was exceptional! We loved that the room had games inside it. Overall, this is one of the best houses in Galena and I highly recommend it!
