It's no wonder this inn has so many excellent reviews. It's not posh, but it's the perfect friendly, comfortable place we were happy to return to after a day of enjoying St. Petersburg. Just three blocks from the center of town, it combines easy access to local attractions with a peaceful environment. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was simple but generous, the innkeepers were endlessly helpful with directions and suggestions, and all of the staff was very friendly. We met many fellow guests who were returning patrons, and were delighted to have found the charming Inn on Third for ourselves!

The location of the Budget Inn was perfect if it had been cleaner!! Recommend The Deck bar and grill best food and prices on the whole trip!! The Budget Inn should report that there are permanent residents among its guests staying there!! And have designated rooms just for guests and not permanent residents!!
A lot has changed but navigating St. Pete was easy just leave 10-15 minutes early to adjust for heavy traffic.

Downtown area was vibrant and upscale.
Downtown area was vibrant and upscale. We enjoyed sitting at an outdoor cafe eating gelato and listening to an outdoor performer singing classic American songs. We took in a trip to an interesting museum. We walked a bit. We felt quite safe.Although this trip to St Petersburg was rather short we have been there before and we’ll return again.
The hotel itself is pretty nice. The rooms are decently sized, well-equipped and very clean. They're also really modern, featuring a lot of tech and automation. The staff is friendly. Also the location within St. Petersburg is really good, as there are a lot of clubs, restaurants and bars nearby. We liked the full-functioning kitchen and the free amenities, such as water and popcorn. Also given the standard, it's pretty reasonably priced! Overall recommendation.
We loved the whole experience. Perfect as a clean comfortable base to explore the area and we felt safe... As near to living the American dream we'll probably ever have staying on a street with people's actual homes.. kids playing outside, riding bikes, BBQ's going etc and really easy to get to Clearwater, St Petersburg, St Petes Beach, Fort Desoto and a million miles of pristine white sandy beaches... We will be back!
It is close to the marina and sea. Ideally placed for free trolley busses. Loads to do. Bars and restaurants a plenty. What a place.
The hotel has everything you could wish for. Staff were amazing and helpful especially Marina who went overboard for us. A happy smile greeted us each day and took time to tell us about where to go etc.
Marina makes Hyatt worth visiting again ! Why use Hilton when you have Hyatt!!
The house is beautifully designed in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying at a boutique hotel but with the privacy and comforts of a house. The neighborhood is charming, quiet and close to a lot of attractions in St. Pete’s. It’s a great place to relax after a day of exploring! The host, Rob, is also very kind and responsive should you need anything.
The hotel offers extremely fast Wi-Fi, allowing for seamless internet browsing. The rooms are equipped with large Android TVs that provide access to popular platforms like YouTube. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located along bus route 9, with a frequency of every 30 minutes. It takes just 15 minutes to reach downtown from the hotel via bus.
It was very comfortable and relaxing, within close proximity to the best spots in St. Petersburg, and in a friendly neighborhood. The option for a later check-out (with a reasonable fee) was highly appreciated, as it afforded us the extra time we needed to clean and put away everything.
Either completely refurbished or brand new. Our room was absolutely immaculate. Facilities in the lobby and breakfast both really good. It was also the cheapest hotel of our trip so outstanding value for money. Really impressed overall for a budget motel.
The location is perfect for walking into St. Petersburg. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk into the center to shop or dine or visit several museums or relax at the park. Staff is very friendly, especially Bryan. He made us feel very welcome.
Fab welcoming old style hotel right in fab location easy walk of pier and dali. Small and personal with breakfast muffins and even a happy hour free drink and local info from Ed and Brian. Will defo return. Loved it.
This is a great hotel - our second time staying and definitely where to stay if you are going to St. Petersburg. The rooms are lovely, the pool area pleasant, and the restaurant inviting. Great staff, too.
Hosts were very friendly, accommodating, and
helpful. Jayson and Reymond had many suggestions for restaurants and sights to help with our visit to St. Petersburg.
Location was good with ample parking.
The hotels in a very good location in downtown St Pete right across from the pier basically. And there's also a parking garage across the street and you can buy an unlimited pass for $15 a day.
