Perfect place to stay if you want the fun of Bar Harbor without the crowd. Just a 20 minute scenic drive into Bar Harbor, though Northeast Harbor has great restaurants and coffee, plus some little shops and a great art gallery! Loved this place. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and good food next door at the Nor’Easter.

The inn was situated in the beautiful wooded area and perfectly decorated with antique charm. Our room felt very cozy, comfortable. Love the real fireplace. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

There are so many things to like/love about this property.
The location is set with access and a fabulous view to Southwest Harbor. The grounds are beautifully maintained.
When you enter the inn, prepare yourself for a feast for your senses. The decor is a blend of Maine coastal and international elegance. Accented with the scent of freshly cut flowers, you are sure to be charmed. The owners Jim and Milan are extremely gracious, friendly and helpful as are the staff. They are anxious to make your stay an unforgettably pleasant experience.

It was very clean, beds comfortable, coffee and tea available 24/7, water, juice and snacks available during the day, muffins and danish available for breakfast. We were able to avoid parking fees in town because we were able to walk.

The breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect. A bonus was the site parking since we were downtown already. Chris was so helpful and accommodating.
