Ideally located directly across the street from Marconi Beach, a favorite spot to visit. Motel staff were able to accommodate us with a first floor room right next to the pool. My friend has ambulatory issues and stairs would have been hard for her. Next to the hotel were excellent restaurants.
Offering an indoor pool, a playground and a basketball court, The Even'tide is in Wellfleet.

This was the perfect setting! The staff were helpful and friendly, the suite was spacious and clean, the pool far exceeded expectations, the ping pong table and other games were a delightful surprise. We were able to get to Provincetown easily, and we found wonderful dining in Wellfleet. We’ll never stay anywhere else on the Cape.

The room was very clean. Hot water was sufficient for a nice, full shower. Microwave and Fridge were provided in room. The rooms were very accessible. Plenty of parking spaces that are free.

The location was perfect for the places I wanted to see and photograph along the national seashore.

Wellfleet doesn't have much... but Cape Cod is overrated in my mind, Beautiful beaches and a nice rail trail, Provincetown is nice but too much touristic. From all our trip, this is the part we would drop.

Don't waste your money. Find another place.
The property does not look like the pictures. The peeling paint on the outside of the building should have been a clue. The person there to check us in was useless. And there is no staff after 5pm. The room smells of early attic musty and dank with very little lighting. The room was filled with early salvation army furniture with no place to put things and no room to walk. The ceiling had water damage and peeling paint. The best was the bathroom with a rusty clawfoot tub retrofitted with a shower that dripped all night which you need a step ladder for and avoid the Strang blue ring. The TV was streaming only so if you don't have a streaming service it just takes up room you could put your stuff. But don't worry the room as two very inconvenient plugs you are afraid to use in fear you may burn the place down. Breakfast was served around 8:30 or latter in a very small room where guests are encouraged to eat outside if they don't want to be in some else's lap. The food was just the was not very good with no real choices. Coffee was a Keurig that every one had to wait in line for. In short, we left early because staying there made us feel itchy.

We loved playing at the Cape Cod National Seashore.
We loved playing at the Cape Cod National Seashore. Our grandkids (ages 6 and 10) loved playing in the waves and picking up crab shells and pretty rocks. Also, loved Sunday breakfast at Van Renssalaers restaurant - kid friendly even though a little fancy.

Wellfleet is beautiful, do not overlook the quaint harbor this town sits on. Both Wellfleet and South Wellfleet are conveniently located on U.S. Route 6, with beaches on both the bay side and ocean side only minutes away. About 15 minutes south of Truro and a half hour drive to the tip of the cape at Provincetown.

Great spot!
Great spot! Close to drive in, mini golf, bike path and beaches. The town of Wellfleet is lovely and has great resound shops. Always amazed that this part of the cape has stayed so natural and remote, with just enough to offer.

Wellfleet hasnt change much since my days going down the Cape in the 60s and 70s. It's like your in a time warp. Marconi beach is awesome . The beach has huge majestic dunes and huge waves when there are gales blowing out at sea.
