I stayed in the Heron complex of Vacation Villages.

I stayed in the Heron complex of Vacation Villages. Registration is in an entirely different part of Weston; then inadequate directions are given to drive to the room. I had to return to the registration office three times (at night) for clarity. Staff seemed indifferent. They didn't even mention my room was on a different street! Other guests commented they also had trouble finding their room. Heron I is more like an old run-down hotel suite, rather than an apartment. The stone flooring was quite damaged. There was no stove, oven or dishwasher, not even a dishpan to wash dishes in. There was a bad sugar-ant infestation. Ants got in my electronics! At least 12 ants crawled into a glass of tea left overnight on the counter. The bathtub is a SAFETY HAZARD no grips anywhere. You've been warned, Vacation Villages. The toilet needs repair. The flapper had to be refitted after EVERY flush to stop the water running. Poor maintenance! Don't get me started on the cheap toilet paper. Like wrapping tissue it was! Guests should bring their own roll or suffer the consequences! :-\ I will not return to this overpriced, poor quality room.

It’s too far from the beach and very little activities on site. Our building is far from the resort itself. The unit was clean and furnishings were good. Bed is comfortable. Some parking is covered and pets are allowed. Multiple swimming pools. A side 1 bedrooms have balconies and full kitchens.

Used hotel to sleep in and was out and about during the day.

Used hotel to sleep in and was out and about during the day. We had a queen bed and a sofa pull out to sleep two. At the end of a long day out, we pulled out the sofa bed. The mattress was stained in several places and was " turned up " at the edges. The mattress was an extremely thin foam and was impossible to sleep on. We tried to use the sofa cushions on top of the mattress which just contorted and tortured us. we we unable to get any sleep

Overall a good place to stay. Family friendly.

Overall a good place to stay. Family friendly. Resort style pool and hot tub is nice. No restaurant/bar on site. Just a small deli with limited hours. Rooms are outdated and no shampoo/conditioner in shower. Be prepared, in order to get your parking pass you have to hear about an “invitation” to learn more about their time shares.

    Weston is nice and scenic.

Weston is nice and scenic. There is a mixture of friendly people everywhere you go, excellent shopping, and good places to eat. Getting around is fairly easy, because a lot of things are in close proximity to each other. Some of our favorite restaurants to go to is Flannigans and I Love Tacos. There are alot of shopping plazas. There is the famous Sawgrass Mills, but there are also smaller plazas that are just as nice with unique stores.

I stayed 3 nights at this Hotel and it was awful.

I stayed 3 nights at this Hotel and it was awful. The first day we experience drain broke and dirt in the tub. We called the front desk for them to tell me to take the drain out (Really)!! The third day we ask can they clean the room and change the sheets. They didn’t change the sheets we came back to our room with dirty sheets so I call the Front desk. The front desk guy was very rude and nasty he told me they will send someone up to change the them. They sent housekeeping up and all she did were hand me some sheets for me to make up the bed. The customer service and housekeeping is Horrible beware they want fix anything or clean your room properly. We will NEVER stay here again. I will take my money to a hotel that appreciates there customers and I’m one who never complains. I’m a operation manager and I know what it is to satisfy your customers.

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, however, it is not easy to find the hotel and if you didn't drive it was very difficult to get around, there was no staff that could drive you to your rooms, the keys would not work most of the time, the restaurants did not have hours to accommodate you if you needed to get something quick to eat, no coffee shops, no vending machines besides the one in the gift shop, and no places you could walk to in case you needed any kind of service. The hotel room was clean but it smelled like urine.

When I read the terrible reviews of this hotel I was very nervous about coming here. I arrived late at night and dealt with Kiany, the night audit agent. She was WONDERFUL. I was anxious about getting one of the rooms described in the negative reviews and she spent the time to look for a room that would meet my expectations. The room was was clean with a great view overlooking the pool. The staff were all very good but Kiany gets an extra shout out for making sure I had a positive experience.

The staff was kind and attentive. I paid for a suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa via booking, and when I got there, they offered just a standard room . I paid through booking, and I couldn't get a refund at the hotel because I made a reservation via booking. The standard room was cheaper than the suite. I paid more.. The good thing was the breakfast. It was so good and free as well. The chocolate waffles were delicious. The hotel is under renovation right now.

The location was right by the Cleveland Clinic where a relative was undergoing surgery. So easy to get back and forth. This was also the only hotel in the area with a two bedroom, two bath option which we needed for our family. It was great to have the full kitchen to cook in so we didn’t have to go out to eat with the Covid numbers so high. And the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Also, as so many other reviews state, the staff was fantastic.

We chose the hotel because of the great location as we were heading to the saw grass mill and because it was near the highway 75. There are lots of parking lots in the hotel area. The room was ok for a one night stay. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby.
