    Our cabin was perfect and comfortable. The AC worked great which was important since it was so hot outside. We swam everyday and loved the pool. The schedule of events was fun too.

    If we ever return to New Braunfels this where we will stay every time. Thoroughly clean, quaint, convenient and seemingly very safe. The living space is small and still plenty for two. A cozy woodsy cabin feel. If you can get space at Sun Retreats Texas Hills don't even think about a hotel.

    This is a super cute place. Staff are wonderful. Pool is great. Our room was upstairs and had everything we needed. We were only booked for 1 night but decided to stay 3 & just do a day trip to San Antonio instead. We were so pleased we decided that as we loved our time in Gruene & at the cottages. We walked down to the centre which is an easy 10 min walk. Once you cross the road there's a short path then a walkway the rest of the way.
