We dined in the Coyote Cantina after a drive in on US 285 from Denver. The walk to Coyote was well-needed after 6 hours in the car. We browsed the shops, saw a wedding party headed down the street to the church, bofore heading back to the hotel.
The next morning we walked to the Railyard District and the Farmers' Market. It was a blast, and the art show a bonus.
This is a great location at a good price.

We loved the closeness of everything downtown, very walkable city. We loved how close the hiking trails were and did some. Also, close to Taos, Bandelier Monument and Los Alamos. We did all those other locations too. Great food at Pantry Rio. Canyon road was interesting. The sunshine and climate were amazing.

What a gem, Santa Fe is!
What a gem, Santa Fe is! Once you get into the heart of it, it is very interesting. Very old and as such has the oldest house and church in the USA, 1600s. Church set up by Spanish from Mexico. It is full of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. There is a school of cuisine so possibly no wonder food is good here. This town is high altitude so you need at least 48 hrs to get used to it. You can get breathless. I am mild asthmatic so it was ok. We barely scraped the surface of the town. Loved the park in the centre, very sociable. We visited Georgia O'Keefe museum. Super place, very modern. Paintings are superb. Great gifts in shop. Loved the shop bag, very smart.
The airport is growing which is a good thing. Transport is the issue. People rely on lyft and uber to get around. But they are not always available near airport and at night. Taxi firms are charging, in the main, ridiculous pricing. Journey to town is 20 mins. You need to shop around. I was told pricing from 50 to 117 dollars, one way to hotel at night. Its 20 dollars in day. Car hire closes at 10pm so if flight late it could be a big problem. I'm told people just fly into Alburqueque instead and then drive to Santa Fe.

Santa Fe is a wonderful city to visit.
Santa Fe is a wonderful city to visit.
There is a great relaxed vibe, and there is a wonderful blend of cultures.
The art and food are wonderful within the city, and the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains invites many day trips for hiking, skiing, and simply smelling the ponderosa pine forests.

Really enjoyed the Vigilanteguides tours.
Really enjoyed the Vigilanteguides tours. Provided lots of information about Santa Fe. Can book online or call 505-336-1799.
We had a car so got around easily. Accommodation was close to downtown area so walked when we went downtown.
Wasn’t sure at the time of booking if this would be the best place or not, but turned out to be a great location, very quiet, and easy walking distance to everywhere in Santa Fe. Very close to the train station, Georgia O’Keeffe museum and Iconik coffeehouse which had the best breakfast! Well not a super charming boutique hotel it’s still had great Santa Fe stale and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Also discovered great new tap room with cocktails around the corner serving pizza from next-door.
We reserved two rooms, one with kitchenette and one with fireplace. One on the lower level and one upstairs. The rooms were cute but the fireplace and in room coffee pot did not work. The included breakfast was simple self serve items like fresh fruit, yogurt, breads and cereal. The best part was the helpful property manager that checked us in. She was helpful with mapping out sites we wanted to see. The property is within walking distance of Old town Santa Fe and the railway art market.
Google maps wasn't accurate but the hotel staff was helpful in directing me to the main office. The made-to-order hot breakfast (options) was delicious and included a variety of fruits, breads, pastries, coffee, juices, etc. My room was on the main property which had plenty of parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Heater/fan was quiet. The location was perfect. I walked to the State Capitol, old plaza, churches, historic district, stores, etc.
I liked the location of my room, but next time will consider booking a hotel closer to the Plaza. I wish the hotel had offered me a map of the area so I could decide whether to drive to the Plaza or walk. I was uncomfortable with walking because this was my first time in Sante Fe and I did not know my way around. Although I was able to use Google Maps, I still like to have a simple map in hand to carry with me while exploring. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent.
The staff at the Drury Plaza is incomparable. They were friendly, accommodating, and did their best to make us feel valued. We were treated with such attention to our needs and understanding of our wishes, that their wonderful attitude contributed to our enjoyable experience and positive feeling towards Santa Fe. The people at Drury are outstanding ambassadors for their city. A special shout-out to Cat at the front desk who made us feel special throughout our stay.
Great location near the Plaza in Santa Fe. We've stayed at Fort Marcy Suites several times and now have our favorite spots around the location, so it's great for us. Comfortable lodgings, great kitchen with all the amenities, responsive employees-for instance, I dropped an earring down the drain and they had someone over within the hour to get it out for me. Fort Marcy Suites is the only place we ever want to stay when we go to Santa Fe.
The breakfast was very nice. The location is excellent for staying near The Plaza in Santa Fe. The parking was very convenient.
The hotel has a Bar / Restaurant on site which has great drinks, good service and affordable food.
There is also a van that will pick up and drop off guests to local restaurants and attractions. We did not use it but it is a nice feature.
The room was absolutely beautiful, with really nice Santa Fe-style architecture. Very cosy, overall! The location is nice too, with good restaurants in the immediate area and the Santa Fe Plaza area being about 15 minutes walk away. Also, the hosts are *really* nice, accomodating, nice to talk to and full of information about the area.
This is a charming hotel/motel with lovely, well-appointed rooms. The continental breakfast is simple but very good, and the location (less than a ten-minute walk from Santa Fe Plaza) is excellent. But the best part of Santa Fe Motel & Inn has to be the service: everyone we encountered was kind, welcoming, and helpful.
The mattress was super comfy - would love to know what kind it was! Also, the breakfast that was provided was excellent. Enjoyed the vibe of the hotel, very cute and very "Santa Fe". Room was super clean and seemed like it had been recently updated. Easy walking distance to the plaza and lots of restaurants.
The room have very good space, super clean, very comfortable bed pillows and shower. wifi connect the very good.
Staff super super friendly and very helpful.
Best location close of everything famous restaurants, attraction places just a few minutes walk.
we will stay in this hotel again and again.
A good budget place to stay in Santa Fe. Liked that they provided breakfast options. Plenty of parking. It is on the main road so you hear a lot of traffic, but I didn’t mind too much as I sleep through anything!!
It felt like a safe area too, especially with a lot of other hotels in the area.
Several things I enjoyed at Coyotee South. 1. The location, 2. Very clean Hotel, 3. Shuttle service to the Baloon Festival in Albuquerque and downtown Santa Fe, 4. Excellent breakfast, 5. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Casa Culinaria is a nice cross between a boutique hotel and a VRBO. Very quiet, clean and well located for short walks to the Plaza, Canyon Rd. art galleries or the Railyard. The grounds were wonderful.
The breakfast was excellent, the best we encountered on our journey. Our room was very nice, with a comfortable bed. the location was very convenient to the Plaza. We would recommend this hotel.
Old Santa Fe Inn is a top shelf hotel, easy walking to the Plaza and the heart of tourist Santa Fe. If you luck up with a room with a little gas Kiva fireplace, it is about as good as it gets.
The hotel is centrally located for exploring downtown Santa Fe. The room was good, comfortable and quiet. The staff were helpful whenever we needed to know something.
I liked the location of the hotel. It’s close to the plaza and lots of restaurants downtown. The beds were comfortable. It’s pet friendly with a $20 fee per day.
