Nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush greenery, Seattle is best known for its great waterfront, fantastic skyline and infamous rainy weather. In reality though, the city gets less rain a year than New York or Atlanta!
One look at Seattle’s skyline and you’re immediately drawn to its most iconic building, the Space Needle. Standing proudly at 184 metres, this major landmark features a rotating restaurant at 150 metres and was featured on numerous films and TV shows, including the classic "Sleepless in Seattle".
The Needle stands not far from the popular Pike Place Market, a public farmer’s market selling fresh produce and crafts from local farms and independent merchants. It’s also a place where Starbucks Corporation was founded in 1971, and today you can enjoy a cup of coffee in their original store!
Seattle has many popular parks and, thanks to its mild marine climate, is a great place for outdoor activities. A visit to Kerry Park to admire the best view of the city with Mt. Rainier in the background is a must!
Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you’re only about 35 minutes from the centre of the city and whether you’re looking for a hotel with free parking or near the airport, Booking.com offers a great choice for your Seattle trip.
Pike Place Market interesting to visit but fruit prices over...
Pike Place Market interesting to visit but fruit prices over the top way too expensive. Would never buy there again. Did Beneath The Streets underground tour and the tour guide was knowledgeable and informative and factual. Waterfront area views pleasant. We took a taxi from accommodation to sights as it was cheap to do that and go directly to what we wanted to see as the streets were sloped in areas and harder for over 60 yo's to walk. Space Needle was on the to do list and Chulilly gardens but did not have enough time in the 2 days we had. Enjoyed lunch at Buckleys cnr of 2nd Avenue. Great food and value for money. Great service and good atmosphere and decor.

Great city.
Great city. Get the CityPass to enjoy up to 5 of 7 recommended tourist attractions. Stay close to Pike Market as loads of food to eat is around there. Yellow cabs are cheaper than Uber but longer wait time. As with most cities, there are loads of homeless people and many stores are taking precautions against this by limited access to their stores. The Crab Pot is highly recommended for a seafood boil, Icarus’s for clam chowder and the Ponk Door for late dinner.

Coming from Vancouver I was comparing the Seattle almost all the time. Seattle's road infrastructure is massive as compared to the Vancouver but the cleanliness and the natural beauty of Seattle is not in par with the Vancouver. Settle does offer some good attractions in the form of many museums and the art galleries but the natural beauty is not in the city like Vancouver instead the natural beauty is outside 100km to the border near Canada. I do recommend to visit the Seattle but halal food is scarce in the city specially if you are looking to get the hand slaughtered meat. Do try Maza grill and Olympic pizza and pasta they are really good. The main mesmerizing attraction is the Chihuly's Garden which you will not want to miss along with the Museum of Flight.

The city is interesting.
The city is interesting. Love to walk to downtown Seattle, to see the market place and the restaurant. Yummy bread @ Piroshky and also buy coffee @ Starbucks-Pike Place Market. Visit the Space Needle and experience thrilling view over the skyriser glass benches.

The wineries were great.
The wineries were great. My favorite was St Michelle—close by and beautiful. Hiking the Little Si or the Rattlesnake was fun! Restaurants—Saltys across the bay! Tera Plata was great. Vendemmie was a great Italian restaurant. Macrina was a lovely little bakery and eatery for morning or lunch. Chambers Bay for golf was awesome! Just walking the wharf was beautiful!

We basically only wanted to visit the Space Needle and Pike Market.
It turns out that one day was perfect and we left for Pier 66 the next morning to board the ship for our Alaskan cruise.
Also would like to mention that the rail system from Sea-Tac airport to downtown Seattle was excellent.
Everything! Perfect location (only hotel in West Seattle) & there is so much within walking distance. The staff is super helpful & friendly. So happy we were told about the free shuttle to the waterfront as we were too tired to drive anywhere after arriving.
The breakfast is also excellent & the lady working at the breakfast area goes out of her way to be personable too. Cute decor in the rooms, free parking & coffee/hot chocolate always available in the lobby. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Customer service. They assisted us to make our trip enjoyable by providing us the map with highlighted places that are walking distances from the hotel. We will definitely use this hotel whenever / wherever we travel in the future. It is accessible to all the scenic spot in Seattle. Also, from the airport it is accessible to the train which only cost us $1 each person. Just few blocks away nice to walk after after 5 hours sitting on the plane.
The proximity to our reason for visiting Seattle made Staybridge the best hotel at the best value. Easily accessible from the airport or from downtown. Easily able to hail car ride services. The neighborhood was above our expectations with local restaurants, coffee shops and experiences. The front desk staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. Kitchen staff was highly engaged with guests and always with a smile. Will highly recommend.
The hotel is beautiful and close to everything at the Seattle Center. Buses run very close to the hotel to get downtown and to other parts of the city, like the University District, Fremont, the airport, and the waterfront. The rooms were good size with thoughtful amenities and generally quite clean. Staff was very helpful and I'm pretty sure they could have produced anything I asked for.
This is a super nice hotel in a convenient location in downtown Seattle. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice design, and you're within walking distance to Pike Place Market and Westlake Center (where you can hop on the light rail or monorail). The attached restaurant was also tasty, and we loved getting coffee and pastries across the street at Dahlia Bakery.
Location can’t be beaten; easy to walk to anywhere you’d want to be in downtown Seattle, and close to transport that connects you to other parts of the city. Hotel decor is absolutely stunning, and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful - you feel like you are staying somewhere truly unique and incredibly special.
The beds were comfortable. The strategic location was good. The price was much cheaper than any other motel or hotel we could find in Seattle. There was a bus going into downtown Seattle from right outside door. There are pretty neighborhoods to walk through on both sides of hwy 99 that take you to Greenlake area.
I really liked this hotel. The staff were exceptional. I made arrangements to arrive after their regular front desk hours and they were ready for me when I got there. The shared bathrooms were very clean and always available. Overall, a great option for downtown Seattle.
Great location for our stay in Seattle. Highly recommended. Very close to Light Rail station for trips downtown or to/from airport. Room was large & comfortable. Great staff. Be sure to check out The Mountainering Club rooftop bar.
* I loved the bed and rest of the furniture in my room.
* The location of the hotel is in a tremendous spot in downtown Seattle.
* It was terrific having a fridge and AC in my hotel room.
* Room was quite clean and tidy
Location is great! Walking distance from downtown, Lake Union and trendy Capitol Hill. Easy to access from airport by train (1-Line). Hotel has nice little excercise room and an indoor pool to dip in.
Fantastic hotel at a great location in downtown Seattle.
Breakfast had multiple option to choose from, all of which are in room dining only.
Ruth Chris and Starbucks inside the hotel.
A very nice individual hotel concept.
The location is in the middle between downtown and the needle. We discovered Seattle by feet.
The hotel offers parking places behind the hotel.
Beautiful old style hotel in downtown Seattle and within easy walking distance to most of the attractions. My room was very comfortable and Oliver’s bar makes a great Martini!
We loved this boutique hotel in a great location of downtown. The atmosphere was lovely, the restaurant and bar were enjoyable, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
