Beautiful, clean and well developed place, the drivers seem to be very friendly and thoughtful people on the road, it’s also very safe but driving there was challenging because of the sharp curves and steep slopes.

There is a lot of natural beauty with stunning views of wolk berge mountains near by and the local wood forests. There is a lot to see and do. At Letaba we did a river boat cruise, saw wild animals that were tamed for the film industry (very well looked after) , ate delicious food, had a local coffee and lunch at Krabbefontein and went to see the Debangeni waterfalls. We also did a cheese-making tour where you can sample several cheeses made at the farm and visited the blueberry farm for blueberry pie. A beautiful place with a view is King Walden with a huge luxurious garden. Overall a wonderful destination to visit. Its also a convenient stop over to use to come back to Johannesburg from the Kruger National Park. Also great value for money. A secret gem for sure!

The rooms are extremely elegant and modern. The rooms has a million dollar vibe. Top class finishes and extremely good for value. The staff was exceptional, with invitation to have dinner and reservations. 10/10 communication. Food at the restaurant was 10/10. Other major hotels have a thing or 2 to learn from The Bohemian. Well done to all the staff at The Bohemian. I have stayed at over 200 hotels and lodges around the world. This Guesthouse definitely deserves accommodation of the year award. Just superb!!

I couldn't find a place to book in and Palmwag showed up on my search. I booked 2x rooms for our overnight stay. We got there and was welcomed with a lovely beverage and our rooms were allocated. We felt at home from the beginning. The attention for any one individual person showing up, is impeccable The food is absolutely amazing. The tranquility of the lake, exceeds the expectation. Will definitely be going back there. Thank you, Ria, Ken and Henk!! You have a gem in the heart of Tzaneen!!!

From when we entered reception Akani was such a delight and very helpful. We loved his attitude all the way. He assisted with our bags to the room. My friend forgot her shoes when we checked out, so we came back to look for them. While housekeeping was looking for the shoes. Akani took his time to show us the defferent rooms in the hotel . Excellent customer service 👏. Thank you Hotel@Tzaneen

Room was a generous size and had a beautiful setting and view , with a lovely outside area that you can sit and enjoy the surroundings . Beautiful gardens .The new manager was very friendly and working hard on the upgrading of the hotel and trying to restore it to its old beauty . Covid and the lack of traveller's has not helped the situation.

Location, right in between Tzaneen and Haenertsburg on the mountain top. Overseeing a distant pool of water. Rooms are intimate, well decorated (modern with an industrial look) and sufficiently equipped for most needs. Friendly staff. One of the gents went out to get us ice and we owe him, please give him a raise, love him soooo much please.
