The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself had a lot of personality which really came through in the aesthetics and interiors. Absolutely loved my stay. Will be recommending Ovolo to friends and family.

This elegant hotel has recently been upgraded and under new management. Guests have access to a shared lounge area and a front garden with outdoor seating. Breakfast is served in the dinning room. The hotel was located right off the train line, second stop down from Flinders stn, so we could hop on for a quick ride to the city. We walked the first day to the Botanical Gardens. Loved the old manor house; our room looked out over the front onto the main road, but not noisy (the window didn't open). Beautiful lounge to read in, and we ate a takeaway dinner in the breakfast room, no problem. Breakfast was reasonable with a choice of cereals and coffee. Our breakfast was included in the price. Loved the decor and manner of decoration.

The rooms are really big and comfortable. Near a lot of shops and restaurants. Great location on chapel street, easy access to train station and the city. Staff was really friendly and helpful at all times.
