Boasting a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Ergon Bakehouse Athens is set in the centre of Athens, 500 metres from Monastiraki Square. Such a clean, calming, almost spa-like experience! The aesthetic was spot on. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We literally woke to the smell of butter/ baked goods. The breakfast was excellent — try the yogurt with honey, really the best I’ve ever had. Terrific location, out of the most touristy area so it was pretty quiet but incredibly accessible to sites if you just walk a couple of blocks.
