L'Hotel Santa Maria, situat a la vora del riu Tíber, es troba en un dels barris més autèntics i encisadors del centre històric de Roma, el barri de Trastevere. This is a wonderful place. Located in the middle of the marvelous Trastevere district, within walking distance to all the main attractions of Rome. We didn't use any kind of motorized transport throughout our stay. The breakfast are very good, even if not very abundant. Especially the bread, coming from a local bakery nearby was delicious. The room we had (no. 1) was very clean and comfortable enough. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room was very, very nice.

Designed by Baroque architect Borromini, the Donna Camilla Savelli is a former monastery in Rome's popular Trastevere area. It offers a garden, elegant and sober rooms, and free WiFi throughout. breakfast was great, room was good in size but considering it was a monastery, of course it does not have the largest windows. location was great, just walking distance from many restaurants,bars and cafes. Especially the courtyard is a great place to relax, have breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is very well too. There is also parking as well as 24 hours reception. But the most important of all is the people; all personnel was super friendly, kind and helpful in all domains of hospitality. We also had an unlucky incident where our baby got fever and they helped us in many scenarios where we felt we are not alone. Thanks for all of it!

Beautiful grounds and view from the rooftop. Great drinks and coffee by the pool. Location was a short 15 minute walk from center. 10 minutes from Trastevere for the best dinner restaurants.
